no because this episode really was about the sacrifices the two of them would make for each other. porsche was prepared to lose a hand for him. he threw away the possibility of getting to go back and live a normal life with his brother because kinn was in danger and he couldn’t let him get hurt, so he came back to save him.
kinn was prepared to lie to his entire family, to tell them that porsche had died, just so he could be free. just so he could go back to his brother and live the life he’d always wanted to, live the dream that kinn never got to. and then he willingly threw himself in front of a bullet for porsche despite the fact that he had no idea that they would be rescued right after. he was prepared to diefor him.

something i always found so ironic about those anti-piracy disney/marvel defenders is that they act like they’re paying for the streaming and the movie tickets and all that because they want to give the creators the revenue. but funnily enough Disney/Marvel/Star Wars movies and tv shows constantly steal from writers and artists of the source material (in marvel’s case, comics, in star wars case, novel writers) and don’t pay them a cent while using their concepts to make billions. so whose creative property are you really protecting by paying for Disney+?
Oh it’s so much worse than that. Ever since Disney has taken over Star Wars, there’s been an ever growing issue of them stealing fan art and passing it off as their own, in a way that seems to have spun out of a normal Marvel comics practice of just googling images and then tracing them.
Here’s one time a Fantastic Four comic took the design of fan made Stargate ship. I reached out to the artist and they had no idea this had even happened, much less got compensation.
As for Star Wars stealing fan art, EckhartsLadder covers it pretty well:
I know these are a lot of videos, but I think they make the point that your money not only isn’t going to creators actually contracted to make official products, but it’s also not going to many fan artists who have their work stolen by Disney properties and have zero recourse cause how can a fan artist afford to take Disney to court? In spite of being a multi-billion dollar company, Disney refuses to pay their own writers and artists, much less those they steal from. Fucking pirate everything.
My friends have noted that I draw this guy a lot, so I went around and made more or less a collage of the more NOTABLE drawings I’ve made, and huh, it’s a nice demonstration of how my painting has changed. It’s fun to have an interest.
