This stunning portrait of Judith Anderson performing one of her greatest roles, Medea, was drawn by my talented friend Rachel. I’ve included the famous photo it’s inspired by so that you can compare them - the likeness is amazing!

Rachel is very modest about her creative achievements, but fortunately I managed to twist her arm and persuade her to allow me to share her art here ;-)

I think Judith herself would be highly impressed with the portrait, don’t you?

Kidding (2018)

This is called

Shaynas Sequence

a lot of people are tagging this with “film” and “movies” or talking about the magic of moviemaking but i really want to point out that Kiddingis a TV show.

i feel it’s important to make this distinction because there’s a common (sometimes subconscious) thought that TV is a lesser form of digital art compared to film, but television, especially recently, has been phenomenal and it deserves proper credit as a storytelling medium, as well as a craft just as capable of amazing work like this

My friends have noted that I draw this guy a lot, so I went around and made more or less a collage of the more NOTABLE drawings I’ve made, and huh, it’s a nice demonstration of how my painting has changed. It’s fun to have an interest.
