nuevayor:

what was the first show y’all broke up with…you know like the first show you had that was your everything for a good amount of time and then it fucked up so bad that like you felt your heart breaking with sadness, disappointment and hurt and then you vowed never to see it again? i’ll start mine was shame/ess

The 100.

And it was so bad I don’t even need to explain myself. The last season of GOT looks like an Emmy deserving finale next to that absolute trainwreck of a show.

peterstarkss:

“The problem for me isn’t that there is no point to this story, it is that the point is being made so very poorly. Just as Bellamy could have died in a million better and more fulfilling in-character ways, this entire season could have just been… so much better than it is. Than I know it could have been. And there are glimpses here and there of what could have been a really, truly bittersweet but heartfelt love letter to the characters and its audience. Unfortunately though, they are being overshadowed by large clouds of poor characterization, rushed plotlines, and what feels more and more like spite.”

The 100 “The Garden” 7x02 (Spoilers!)

So I honestly really enjoyed this episode even though I had read the spoilers beforehand and knew what was going to happen. But with the premiere feeling so jumbled it was nice to have this one as a follow up to actually get me intrigued with the season and the story.

First off, Octavia. Wow. Like I love Octavia. She’s a complex character with such a tragic past and while she seems to transform every season she’s still the same Octavia at the core that we fell in love with in s1. This episode was great for her. Between being Auntie O, to seeing her really smile again and fighting to get back to her brother to tell him how she’s grown it was just great as was Marie’s performance.

Diyoza and Hope. Honestly flashbacks like this are everything because while I may not have cared much about Hope in episode 1 I most certainly cared more by the end of episode 2. Watching her grow up and seeing some of the parallels to Octavia’s upbringing really made the story come full circle from season 1 and I loved it. Also who knew we’d all be such a fan of Diyozas character back in s5?

The new trio. While I’ve never been hidden about disliking Echo I like the storyline and Gabriel and Hope enough now that I don’t even care that she’s in the scene. I will say I am enjoying this storyline and seeing the past unravel because while characters come first to me I do like how the story with Becca ties all these worlds together. Its pretty cool. Also Gabriel nerding out is absolutely adorable.

Finally, it must me nice to be Diyoza and Octavia and watch Hope age ten years while they don’t age a day ‍♀️

Here were some of my thoughts about the premiere
