#the future is female

There is trouble brewing in my coven. One of our members is getting a divorce. This is the first divorce in our group of 7 women. (And a few on the margins.) I don’t know if anyone has studied this but i’m willing to bet that the divorce rate is lower in FLRs than in vanilla relationships. I don’t have any data, just observation. Our group has been together for years and no one has ever had to resort to separation. One of us had a divorce but kept her husband as a slave. ( I don’t know what kind of evil bitch would do that but she seems truly bad! If you are a friend, don’t mention her in comments! ) When one of us is down we try to rally to our sister. Legally, I’m certain she’ll be fine. We have all taken certain steps to insure a good outcome. I will encourage her to be fair. We are not gold diggers. Luckily there are no children. All women need a support group. If you are a woman and you are reading this I have a few questions. Do you have a best friend you’ve known a long time? Do you trust her with your life? Is she smarter than you? If the answers are yes then she is who you should tell what you are trying to accomplish with your husband. Women do much better together. Your friend can be a powerful ally. She’ll care about you and all that this life can bring.
