About Love When I was five I asked my mother about love. She scooped me into her arms and spun me around, her laughter filling up the room. She said love was like a red, round balloon; there was a part of you that wanted to hold on to it, a part of you longed to see it soar into the big, open sky. (…)

A beautifully written poetry and prose book, including my favourites: Keys to the Kingdom, About Love, and Revenge!
“How I envy so the half of me, who lived before love’s due, who was yet to know of you.”
“I wish I could go back to a time when I only believed good things about you”
“The secret is no one gets what they want without losing who they are”
“The truth is, I loved our love more than I loved you.”
“I never see things as they are, only what they could be. So, can you blame me when I look at you and all I see is love.”
We reminisce so much about the past that it becomes like a second shadow. We dream so much about the future that we hardly present. We talk so much about our lives, we forget to live it.

BOOK REVIEW
“IN A SEA OF STANGERS, YOU’VE LONGED TO KNOW ME, YOUR LIFE SPENT SAILING TO MY SHORES.”
Feelings is all I could say about this book. It brought out feelings that I needed to dive deep and Reflect for myself. Leav writes what every person should read when they need to get out of any emotional feelings that they are having. It was like reading a book that was meant for me in that very moment. And I think that is why I loved it so much. Hands down my new favorite poetry book and author.
“Meant to Be
If they were meant to be in your life, nothing cover ever make them leave. If they weren’t, nothing in the world could make them stay.”

there is a particular kind of suffering to be experienced when you love something greater than yourself.
