ashes is firmly in the “pulls into drive through” corner; directly above them (closer to “we have food at home”) is tim, and above him is nastya, who is still a good distance from the top of the triangle. on the opposite side, in the “mcdonalds!” corner, is the toy soldier; above it in ascending order are marius, raphaella, and brian. like nastya, brian remains a distance from the top of the triangle. halfway between ashes and the toy soldier, on the bottom line, is jonny; in the center of the triangle is ivy.

Love that this implies one of these options:
A) This is just what whoever was making the tag put on it because he always introduced himself as Gunpowder Tim and who were they to question what this dude’s deal was
B) Tim’s first name was Tim, but then he changed it to Gunpowder and made Tim his last name after he was mechanised, similar to Jonny changing his last name from Vangelis to D’Ville after meeting Carmilla
C) Tim’s parents were named Mr and Mrs Tim. They named their son Gunpowder. The penchant for explosions was just a nice surprise nineteen years down the line

D) Gunpowder is a totally normal first name in Britain 3000 years in the future ago. His little sisters were called Thermonuclear Missile Tim and Embezzlement Tim. He’s only called Gunpowder Tim because his Year 6 class had 3 other Gunpowders and it kind of stuck.

it’s always hi how are you and never do you want to introduce me to a mechs album and pause every 2 seconds to explain the plot/puns/irrelevant but cool extra info :/
-the toy soldier was not programmed to know how to waltz
-cats enjoy using the drumbot as a scratching post
-jonny watches the great british bake-off
-when no one was looking, the toy soldier stole forty cakes. it stole 40 cakes. that’s as many as four tens. and that’s terrible
more important mechs lore:
-nastya has a furry movie collection
-ashes bakes but the edibility of their creations is very dubious
-marius canceled his lectures in the city because he was mad that his book on the olympians was put in the ‘true crime’ section rather than the ‘psychology’ section
-jonny kept stealing brian’s instruments specifically so he could make fun of him for not playing the drums
-brian has (negative) opinions on tumblr as a site
