Another quick reminder since i start seeing people saying “UwU both are good” in the tags and reblogs.

Okay but in the defence of Jurassic Park/World, they explained the dinosaurs may not look like the real thing because they had to reconstruct the DNA with other animals.

I agree that we should represent ancient dinosaurs with feathers when accurate!! It’s important to stay true to facts. Please DO make dinosaur documentaries with feathered raptors.

But what I’m saying is Jurassic Park/World should get pass because it’s not a documentary, it’s a sci-fi about freak monsters of mad science.

Fictional species are respectable, fun and creative, and that’s what Jurassic Park/World dinosaurs should be considered: FICTIONAL species.

And it’s not our problem that some people can’t tell the difference between facts and fiction.

I’m okay with the feathers but I still want it to have hands

I will note that “wanting” isn’t really an applicable sentiment when it comes to scientific facts, things are how they are regardless of if you want it or not, however you’ll be happy to know that dromaeosaurs did have hands, in fact, the primaries specifically grow out of the second finger, which still exists in birds today (seen in yellow on the diagram below, note how the first finger, while small, is also still present).

The hands would basically be under the wing feathers, with the first finger peeking out in some poses.
