He makes a sound of pure frustration, slamming his hands against the wall by my head making me flinch. “What do I need to do to prove it to you?”
“You can’t prove it to me.”
“Yes, I can,” he says slowly. “Yes, I can.”
He leans forward, pressing his mouth to mine.
