I loved this book! I love Christmas, I love cheesy Christmas movies and the music and everything about it. If you feel the same way, you’ll probably love My True Love Gave to Me.
Very few of the stories weren’t insta-favorites for me, my favorites being the ones by Rowell, McEntire, White, and Foreman. I wasn’t crazy about Carter or Black’s stories, but they didn’t take away from the greatness of the other stories.
This book covers so many different characters, with different lives and views of Christmas, therefore being the perfect book for anyone. You can find a character to relate with in at least one of the stories! Mine was defiantly from Rainbow Rowell’s. (Which isn’t very surprising since I’m pretty sure she’s stealing from my life to write all her books.)
Basically, this book is perfect and you should read it this Christmas season!
Love this challenge ^_^ Since I had to leave my books behind =’( my Kindle has been invaluable! I just finished reading these three books between yesterday and today, so instead I’ll post the next book on my reading list.
Now it’s your turn! Take a selfie with the book you are currently reading and post it on your wall with the hashtag #cogeunmalditolibro. Reading is knowledge! (Knowledge is power! =P)
