I finally finished a rough outline for my first dealio in The Sketchbook Project! The idea is to make it a Bermuda travelogue by surreal-izing the things I learn here… it’ll be half scientific illustration, half bad visual puns, and a whole lot of stippling. The island isn’t particularly conducive to finding great art supplies (or any at all), so the bad news is that I may have to fill in the texture and color when I get home. But whatevs, I think this is starting out as a pretty cool project.
