An old sketch (2016) of the Inhuman king, Blackbolt. Not in any way shape or form related to yesterday’s sketch of @ansonmount as Cullen Bohannon. Not at all.
I know I don’t talk about my commission work as much as I should, so here’s a really fun Star Wars-themed family portrait I did to welcome the very appropriately named baby Luke to the world!
Commission slots are available now! May the 4th be with you!
Well, it’s snowing again(!), so I figured why not post my beach-y entry in @deuza_art’s #deuza3k draw this in your style challenge. I loved the design of the original (especially the tattoos) and wanted to make her a surfer, so I decided to incorporate those nouveau ornaments from the background into her board.
Here’s my entry in the #cladart3k DTIYS challenge from @cladart_ (congrats on the milestone!). I really enjoyed the colors and jumped at the chance to participate - and to practice drawing braids haha!
Down to the wire here, but here’s my entry in the #ADL140k DTIYS challenge from @adesignerlife_ (congrats on the milestone!). I loved the look of this fierce archer and was really excited to take a shot at her (pun intended)!
Here’s my entry in the #ntyjen1k DTIYS challenge from @nty.jen (congrats on the milestone!). I really liked this cute little demon girl and jumped at the chance to participate in the challenge - and maybe it was my recent Gargoyles post, but I just had to do a version with her wings and tail!
I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress in defining my style, especially over the past few months. So I decided the 30th Anniversary of Sailor Moon (can you believe it?!) was the perfect opportunity to take another swing at my Sailor Jupiter (my favorite Sailor Scout) portrait from last summer. I didn’t do anything to the original sketch, I just softened the line work, recolored and re-shaded, and drew in the lightning instead of using a stamp brush. I think it’s much more representative of the look I’ve been developing and I’m much happier with her now.
Swipe to see a side by side. What do you think? Is she more “me” now? Or do you prefer the original?
