@jsteneil had the funniest tags regarding my old piece in which monty and percy are out riding, so naturally i had to draw that for the riding prompt!

i’ve been feeling a little off with my art lately and like i don’t know what i want it to look like, so i wanted to do something fun and easy to keep myself in the groove, hence tggtvav modern AU. i’m not usually big on AUs but i feel like this allowed me to draw them in a more cartoonish style than i would usually use for them, and it was really relaxing to draw in a style i’m familiar with.
anyway, modern AU monty would definitely be a fashion hoe. percy i think would be a little bit more muted with his style, but his personality would still come out through little things, like having ripped jeans instead of normal ones.

underwear wasn’t really a thing in 18th century europe and men would instead just wear these long shirts they would then tuck into their breeches, so i believe monty would absolutely take advantage of this whenever percy was lounging around the house in nothing but a shirt

here are the coloured versions of the sketches i posted on my main blog a while ago. the last time i drew monty he was being sad about his scars, so i wanted to give another angle: the confident monty from the lady’s guide who’d cut his hair short instead of trying to hide under it. though i do love his long hair and hope he grows it back!
two different outfits because i couldn’t decide which one to draw. i always draw them in nothing but their undershirts, bc it’s sexy, but it’s fun to do some actual clothing every once in a while lol! i figure the first one is what he’s wearing under the second one.
