Percy: Let me show you a picture from last night that really upset me.
Monty: Okay, but in my defense, Adrian bet me 50 pence I couldn’t drink all that shampoo.
Percy: That’s not what I wanted to- you drank SHAMPOO?!
Adrian: So… uhhh… I kind of accidentally did something-
Percy: Does this story end with you making a stupid decision?
Adrian: Yes
Percy: Here’s my advice: Don’t say anything, and if Felicity asks, blame it on Monty
Percy: You guys ever feel like you’re being watched?
Monty: All the time. When you look this good, you just gotta get used to it
Percy: Why are you two fighting?
Felicity: He’s standing in my way!
Percy: Where are you going?
Felicity: Nowhere!
[Percy and Monty are sitting on a bench]
Felicity: Why do you guys look so sad?
Monty: Sit down with us so we can tell you.
[Felicity sits down]
Percy: The bench is freshly painted.
Felicity:
Percy: I just want you to know that I love your brother very much.
Felicity: You do?
Percy: Yes.
Felicity: Really?
Percy: Yes.
Felicity: May I ask why?
Scipio: While I’m gone, Monty, you’re in charge.
Monty: Yes!
Scipio, whispering to Percy: You’re secretly in charge.
Percy: Obviously.
Felicity: Right, who do we know has handcuffs?
Monty: Well Perce and I-
*Percy glares at Monty*
Monty: Wouldn’t know.
Lockwood: So, where are you from?
Percy: England.
Lockwood: Which part?
Percy: My whole body.
Percy: What’s that story where they bring the monster to life and then have to destroy it.
Felicity: Frankenstein?
Monty: Frosty the Snowman.
Percy: Ugh, I’m so tired… I couldn’t sleep last night…
Felicity: You know, if you can’t sleep then that means someone was thinking about you.
Percy: Who would be thinking about me at 3am??
Monty: *gay panicking at 3am*
a while ago i saw a guy who had exactly the kinda hair i always imagined percy would have, and he wore it with the front part pulled back like so. that made me want to draw percy wearing the same hairstyle, and i did some extra styles as well, period accuracy be damned
in the last one he’s writing a love letter to monty bc they’re just that sappy

apparently mackenzi lee once said in an instagram q&a that a three-legged, one-eyed cat ends up adopting monty and percy and i haven’t been able to stop thinking about it ever since i first read about it……….. they……………….

TGGTVAV week 2020 / day 7 / RIDING

@jsteneil had the funniest tags regarding my old piece in which monty and percy are out riding, so naturally i had to draw that for the riding prompt!

i’ve been feeling a little off with my art lately and like i don’t know what i want it to look like, so i wanted to do something fun and easy to keep myself in the groove, hence tggtvav modern AU. i’m not usually big on AUs but i feel like this allowed me to draw them in a more cartoonish style than i would usually use for them, and it was really relaxing to draw in a style i’m familiar with.
anyway, modern AU monty would definitely be a fashion hoe. percy i think would be a little bit more muted with his style, but his personality would still come out through little things, like having ripped jeans instead of normal ones.

underwear wasn’t really a thing in 18th century europe and men would instead just wear these long shirts they would then tuck into their breeches, so i believe monty would absolutely take advantage of this whenever percy was lounging around the house in nothing but a shirt

wanted to do the six fanarts challenge that’s been trending on twitter. i’m surprised i got so many requests for soc characters when i so rarely draw for soc! but it was very fun drawing all of these. a big thank you to everyone who sent me a request❣️

i read the song of achilles, the gentleman’s guide to vice and virtue, and red white and royal blue all in the same week so i guess you could say i’m feeling some very strong emotions right now
