#traditional weaving lessons
Dear all,
It has been decided that the traditional weaving lessons will take place next week under the condition that participants will have to wear a mask. There are three out of four slots available, so do let me know if you are interested. The dates and times are:
Thursday 15th / 8:30am-1:30pm
Friday 16th / 8:30am-1:30pm
Saturday 17th / 8:30am-1:30pm

Since an extension for my new book has been given, a traditional three-day weaving workshop will be taking place here at the studio this November.

Here is Theano from Phyti weaving an intricate ploumi. We won’t be learning this particular one but the ‘kamaroua’ (little arch) and ‘mostres’ (stripes) preceding it on Theanos loom shall be covered!

The looms’ beaters and pedals are moving rhythmically today filling the studio with pleasant sounds. Our students have happily plunged into the world of traditional weaving.
