Now, while I can imagine anyone who DOES have such a condition would drool over Prowl in the right circumstances, I don’t think any of the canon-to-common-fanon exes fit.
Chromedome dated Prowl when he was clearly a much more reasonable person to consider dating. Kind of a prick? Sure, but nothing like what he’d become. Dumped him when he saw him getting worse. CD is not a fixer-upper himself, he wants to date people with terminal ‘I can fix him’ brain. See: Rewind.
Mesothulas didn’t want to fix him. He liked him because he was terrible. He wanted a morally-ambiguous-to-villainous boyfriend to do crimes with. Prowldumpedhim. (well, you know, tried to murder him. Strictly speaking.)Prowl somehow thought thatwas gonna help him be less of an asshole, as an easier option than like, doing literally any actual self reflection. Prowl really let the side down there, couldn’t commit to the war crime lifestyle properly.
The Constructicons also like Prowl as he is! They think he’s perfect because, tbh, their standards are kinda low. Unfortunately by that point Prowl has managed to mix self loathing into his cocktail of arrogance and bastardry, and finds this deeply suspect instead of flattering. Buggers it all up while having an extended breakdown. Also, you know, the whole thing where he was mind controlled the first time they combined probably didn’t help. That he managed to fuck up a relationship where they saw the inside of his brain and still thought he was great is kinda impressive in its own right?
