She sleeps
As hungry gazes devour her
She sleeps
Through the violation without a single stir
She sleeps
As greedy hands join the eyes
She sleeps
As her abused body cries
She sleeps
As her integrity is tainted
She sleeps
And it’s an ugly red in which her body is painted
When she finally opens her eyes
To be fed with cruesome lies
Her sleeping beauty was all he cared for
not Aurora, the former maiden, with her ickle body sore.
Bald Rapunzel
Once upon a time deep in the forest in the highest tower
The princess had once sung in a chamber
Causing the growth and flourishing of every flower
Before dissecting each single member
Her lullabies have long ago turned into cruciating screams
Through the tiny window she sees the light
But it won’t feel right
And she’s falling apart at the seams
This window, once a portal to freedom started leading to her doom
No longer trying to escape the shadows the crawls in the darkest corners of her room
Seldom someone shouts the words that have already lost their meaning
“Rapunzel, let down your hair” just sends her off to do more keening
And how she keeps on wailing every day
Grieving her cruel fate which is forever to stay
And as she lies there, almost dead
She wishes for the fairytale ending everyone claims she had.
Closed eyes, hair forming your halo
You rest peacefully
Lips portraying a smile, so mellow
As your gown swirls around your limbs gracefully
Euphoria must be the liquid I consume
Poured out by supernatural spirits
Residing in this sordid room
Creating an ecstasy mankind forbids
Spellbound I am locked in place
Unable to tear my eyes away
Guided to your features by invisible rays
An almost voyeuristic awe begs me to stay
Though the truly enchanting beauty
The symphony of intakes of breath and a steady heartbeat
Is what separates joy from duty
And sighing heavily I cover your silhouette with a dark sheet
