Besties - pinky promises, Snapchat streaks, don’t tell anyone except ‘x’ obviously, inside jokes, photo booths, expert advice, kept promises, matching accessories, ice cream, blanket forts, listening to the sound of the rain, random gifts, FaceTime calls, random memes, birthday balloons

With benefits - impulsive choices, laughter, rollercoasters without holding onto the seat, smudged lipstick, knowing glances, gossip, mood swings, petty arguments, text message paragraphs, emergency calls to your best friend, clouds of confusion, stormy goodbyes, regretful decisions, scrunched noses

Mutual - familiar faces, waving at the wrong person, staring at the floor, awkward pauses, careless greetings, obligatory niceties, drunken conversation, long notification lists, silly games, big parties, losing things, nervous fiddling, endless group chats, empty plans, white lies, fake emotions, formal events

• the one who is way too into anime
• the one who introduced the one who is way too into anime to anime and regrets it
• the other one who introduced anime lover to anime and is now using their obsession as a way to make someone watch the same weird shit they do
• the down to earth one who doesn’t know how they got here and isn’t allowed to leave
• the artist who is verging on being feral but instead of gamer rage is fuelled by procrastination and deadlines
• the one that you think you know everything about then you suddenly find out that they killed someone
• the sweet soft looking one who turns out to be really into vore
• the introvert who is just here because these people are so loud and it’s better to hide in plain sight
• the introvert who is a massively chaotic person and is with the group to supplement everyone with bad ideas from the shadows
• the one who crushes energy drink cans against their head and plays like a million different sports
• the one you jokingly referred to as kyle and now has developed kyle as a secondary personality that only comes out when they’re wearing a baseball cap backwards (weirdly specific, i know)
• the one who is never there but you really miss them despite having spent a total of 16 minutes with them in person
• the dungeon master who has to dm a bunch of these chaotic assholes weekly and has lost their will to live
