Something I’ve been seeing a lot of that is pissing me off, is people saying “I hope there are less sex scenes in this season” “I just can’t see Penelope having sex”.
How dare you. If this season is not as sex charged as the others I will sue. I want to see a plus sized character treated like all the other ones.

Joey and Henry were best of friends, despite Henry being a selkie and Joey being a seal’s natural predator – Joey actually left his pod to make sure Henry would be safe – until they had a bit of a falling out over differing opinions on the human world, when Henry started getting close to a human woman after she started bringing treats for the cute seal that always showed up to visit her on the beach.
Joey’s a bit of an idiot and he’s mischievous about stealing human equipment, and getting tracked by the humans he just won’t leave alone is probably what led to a lot of the mers around him getting captured, but he’s generally friendly and well-meaning! …until, with all the mers around him disrupted by his antics, he’s finally captured himself, and turns out to be way more dangerous in captivity, becoming aggressive and domineering as he tries to find some way to stay in control.
anyway OBVIOUSLY when all your friends and neighbours get captured and sold to an aquarium u shed ur seal skin to appear to be human so that you can get a job at that aquarium as late night security, right??? Henry does not have any kind of plan here and only just recently learned how to behave convincingly as a Human from Linda but he does want to like, keep an eye on his friends???? make sure they’re okay??????? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
