And he never justified himself with a difficult past. I’m proud of him. Overcoming your destructive behavior is not easy, even as an adult. Especially having an unpleasant life experience behind it, which often pulls you down. No one is obliged to love him for this, to justify, to be proud of. That’s not the point. The point is that sometimes it’s worth digging deeper so as not to think in patterns about evil evil, which is evil because it is evil. That’s all I wanted to say.
