Talking about how humans have always been humans, here is one of the archeological finds that makes me cry. Like, tears rolling down the face as I’m typing this.
They posed the little boy like he was sleeping. They covered him in a shroud and placed a pillow under his head before they buried him. 78000 years ago they put time and effort and love into tucking their baby in for the last time. We still bury our loved ones like they are sleeping. We place pillows under their heads.

I am so passionate about this. Whether it’s male on female, female on male, female on female, or male on male, rape and molestation happens. Unless it’s an sober, enthusiastic, resounding HELL YES, don’t do it. Don’t even go near it without consent. Consent isn’t just sexy - consent is essential.
sigh i hate being that person but also not really bc it can be frustrating sometimes so please please please leave feedback for content creators instead of only leaving likes/empty reblogs!!!! obviously we create content because we like doing it and it makes us happy, but it takes time and effort and it helps a lot a lot more than what you might think to give us some feedback/tell us what you liked. trust me, 99% of us aren’t expecting a paragraph (let alone a ten page essay) back, even a few words or a keyboard smash already mean a lot to us, and it can be very frustrating and demotivating to put out content only for it to be silently consumed w/o any sort of interaction. so please support the content you enjoy by rbing (to help circulate it) and leaving feedback
working hard does not mean working yourself sick. i know so many people who don’t feel pride when they succeed, just relief they didn’t fail. you have already made amazing accomplishments, let yourself feel like all you have done is enough.
“Public libraries are such important, lovely places!” Yes but do you GO there. Do you STUDY there. Do you meet friends and get coffee there. Do you borrow the FREE, ZERO SUBSCRIPTION, ZERO TRACKING books, audiobooks, ebooks, and films. Have you checked out their events and schemes. Do you sign up for the low cost courses in ASL or knitting or programming or writing your CV that they probably run. Do you know they probably have myriad of schemes to help low income families. Do you hire their low cost rooms if you need them. Have you joined their social groups. Do you use the FREE COMPUTERS. Do you even know what your library is trying to offer you. Listen, the library shouldn’t just exist for you as a nice idea. That’s why more libraries shut every year
