I think it would be a good idea if the Fantastic Four film followed the example of Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Batman by skipping the origin. Use the multiverse and set it in one where the team is already established and has been active for over a decade, this way Franklin and Val can be in the film and that would really set it apart from the previous film. Instead of fledgling heroes, make them experienced veterans.

Maybe start with a montage showing their origin and career as heroes, but don’t make it the main story.

So like what the Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton did.

I agree but mainly because let’s face it Sue really didn’t become intresting until after they became the working mom superhero. But another aspect that needs to be addressed in the montage is that Doom doesn’t have anything to do with the origin. That’s the mistake the other movies did
