No longer able to ship any products to Germany

I posted this in my story some time earlier but not in my feed, so here it is. This photo is now up in some of my listings in Etsy for extra awareness. I’m aware that Etsy app shoppers cannot really see shop announcements and no one reads the policy segment

I just had 1 fella wait 1 week for me to confirm junimo colours, he’s finally placed his order with much excitement, only for me to find out he’s in Germany, and now I have to cancel it CRY.

I’m sorry :( I’m only a small home business.

While I can register for free on the LUCID Packaging Register, I need to pay for a Packaging License to comply with the law which also requires me to calculate my annual packaging quantities

While it’s a good move, and I am supportive of recycling, there will always be other consequences.
