Tags and warnings: NSFW, Reed900, Medical Kink/Play
Summary: “Male android, strictly moronsexual, seeking d4d (dumbass for dumbass) medplay. You must be dumb enough to respond to an online ad on a porn site, thinking I am a legitimate doctor. You must be dumb enough to strip naked and let me touch your dick, thinking I am a legitimate doctor. You MUST allow me to milk your prostate for over an hour, while still thinking I am a legitimate doctor.
Are YOU dumb enough?”
Detective Gavin Reed replies immediately.
OR
Gavin accidentally signs himself up for a medical fetish scene with Doctor Nines.
i just think that pangxie…
I was thinking about the Elven Rings today and the fire, water, air symbolism that Tolkien loves, and at first I was going to say that the rings symbolize the element that the bearer has the strongest connection to, but I think actually that the rings are the element that the bearer needs to develop the most to balance themselves out.
Galadriel is our lady with her fierce fiery spirit and strong desire to rule, so it makes sense that she ends up with the ring of water. Water to balance out all that inner fire, water to temper her ambitions, water to bring wisdom and compassion.
Gandalf is gentler tempered and compassionate with an air of authority, but he does express doubts and fear about being sent on his mission. The ring of fire is perfect to give him courage, to give him the confidence and strength to carry out his task, to kindle the hearts of others around him.
Elrond, our dear, kind as summer Elrond has plenty of compassion, wisdom, and courage from his turbulent war torn youth, but he seems to have reservations and fears about being in a position of authority which is why he ends up with the ring of air, the one over the other Elven Rings. Air to help him to lead and govern, and not fear being the one others look to for strength.
the thing that gets me is, where is earth in all of this?
…The oars were stayed. They turned aside;
‘Do you hear the call, Earth-maiden?
Firiel! Firiel!’ they cried.
‘our ship is not full-laden.
One more only we may bear.
Come! for your days are speeding
Come! Earth-maiden elven-fair,
our last call heeding.’Firiel looked from the river bank,
one step daring
then deep in clay her feet sank,
and she halted staring.
Slowly the elven ship went by
whispering through the water:
‘I cannot come!’ they heard her cry.
‘I was born Earth’s daughter!Earth is for mortals.
