Unpopular Opinion, oh boi get yo hate hats on

I’m kinda pissed someone started Sheith Month even though most of the fandom was aware it was Julance (Lance Month) but oh well, am not here to spill any tea.

We know Keith was fully ready to sacrifice himself for the mission.

We saw that when he was about to fly into the damn force field thingy.

Lance actually did sacrifice himself and had to be brought back to life.

Neither Keith’s or Lance’s sacrifice have been discussed yet.

Will the team ever address that? Now that Keith is back, Shiro is alive and real and they are ‘going home’ ? If either of them sacrificed themselves and didn’t come out if it alive, I think this wouldn’t have happened and I feel like both the events must be discussed at some point.

What if they shared it with eachother?

Will Lance go speak to Allura about, 'What now? Am I dead? Am I alive? What am I?’ and ask, what has she done to bring him back.

Is Keith going to speak to the now Real Shiro? To Krolia, who’s his own biological mother? Are we gonna get a sad scene where he just sits there, alone, talking to the Wolf about how he can’t tell anyone?

Is the fact that these kids are not ok anymore, ever going to be addressed properly?

Weird thing to say, but, thank Altea for Pidge’s….mild paranoia.

This instance, with Shiro being behind the virus, and Pidge making a whole copy of his arm’s programming, in case something like this ever happened, that’s not normal. You don’t suspect your leaders.

But this isn’t the first time, where she over-thought, refused to believe, where she didn’t know what to think because her worst fears couldn’t be real, right?

And on that note, Lance fucking died.

If that doesn’t mess up a kid, then that kid was already messed up beyond fixing. Emotionally, I mean. He has memories of being there, awaiting the blast, probably incredible pain, and then? And then nothing. And then Allura.

Even death couldn’t free him from this war.

Keith had to fight Shiro. Man who basically raised him, and Shiro was attacking with killing intent. Not stun, not slow down, but kill. Keith was mad enough to turn momentary Galra, and that’s saying something. It’s like, anger issues to the next level.

Hunk went from scared and worried to absolutely disassociated from the fight. Can you see it? The Hunk in the Lion and Hunk amongst friends are different. The Hunk who fights is tired, short tempered and wants to be done and over. That’s a problem they shouldn’t have to face.

This war is affecting them and it’s affecting them badly. If by the end of Voltron, they don’t mention how these kids will undeniably suffer from PTSD, Paranoia, maybe even severe anxiety and depression, if they just sweep aside the fact that these kidsfoughta war they never had to fight, I’ll be greatly disappointed.

For them to remain fighting, remain trying, remain trusting eachother and supporting each other as much as possible, they are strong. They are good kids, but good or bad, it doesn’t matter, pulling the trigger is the same on both sides.

And I know this is supposed to be a kids show, but for the love of God I don’t believe in, this isn’t ok.

So, we know from like, earlier season, that Keith had a solid reaction to touching quintessence directly. His hand in the inside looked, well, purple. Not burnt or bruised kind either.

So

What I’m trying to say is

If he is exposed to large amounts of quintessence, he may turn more Galra looking than before.

And um

That’s a pretty big, yellow looking, explosion. Like the liquid(?) quintessence in earlier season.

And I don’t wanna be that person but

If it IS a quintessence infused explosion, and we don’t know how late into the season this scene is gonna take place, we may have a Galra looking Keith sooner than we know.

So, I’m tired, pardon but the trailer dropped, and some shit went down on Den of Geek,andsaw the pics of Lance’s D&D character, I think

And like, the marks on his face really resemble Krolia’s?

I just thought it’s….neat…

Plus they are red….not his usual blue…

Like, a nod towards, something. But I don’t know what. Excuse me jabbering.

I haven’t seen Season 7 yet, but, i wanna know, how strong is the connection on Shiro’s new arm? Like, if i just held onto it would it pick me up? If I held it and walked off, would he be unable to take it back? And if it’s a strong electromagnetic field that’s connecting the two parts, with some weird telekinetic-kinetic force input, then would a tow truck do the job? Duct type his arm, and go? Would it just flop down after a while cause he is out of range? Does it work on Bluetooth?

I have multiple questions.

- when she got to middle school she wanted to be in a music emsemble

- she played violin for like two months

- switched to band

- started out as a flute

- auditioned for marching band as a rising ninth grader

- her first year she never even learnt how to march and never kept track of her dots

- still managed to be in the right place at the right time without her feet lookin weird??

- matt sees how much she loves marching band and decides to attend band camp

- the only instrument he ever played was the triangle tho

- he relives newbies stress and makes shiro and allura chill

- once he brought a taco truck?? also he brings bae bae every day

- he’s the official hypeman and leads bonding exercises

- oh and he air saxes careless whisper with pidge

• lance and keith are guard buddies (rivals). lance plays like five instruments but he chose guard because he thinks it’s more showy. he also loves being on rifle line. his rifle is his girlfriend. keith loves flag. sometimes he pretends it’s a sword. nerd. bonus: keith has no idea how close is too close and has hit three trumpets and a clarinet in the span of two days. also he has a glove tan.

• pidge is a sax. she is also a mess. whenever they’re not playing show music or required to be quiet she’s playing careless whisper. biggest meme. she is terrible at the marching part of marching band. also highly protective of her dots even though she can never get to them in time. don’t stand on her dot unless you’re supposed to be there. she will end you.

• hunk is totally a pit guy. he never liked marching and well, pit is less walking. he’s the section leader (mom) and helps everyone get their instruments out to the field. on long days he brings ingredients (like ones you don’t have to cook and can be put together quickly) and they make food during dinner break.

• shiro and allura are drum majors. they’re super chill and people often call shiro dad by accident (on purpose). they tend to intimidate the newbies but always try to calm their nerves. allura baked cookies for hours and made 8 batches so she could bring enough for everyone. she also leads bonding exercises.

• coran is the director. he’s funny and chill albeit a bit strict. everyone loves him. he loves everyone. he just wants everyone to have a good time and everything to go smoothly and the performance to go well.

• another bonus: matt isn’t part of marching band but he’s there all the time. everyone kinda just accepts his presence. air saxes careless whisper with pidge. tickles shiro at random (shiro pretends not to like it but he actually does and he knows that seeing this side of him makes the newbies more comfortable around him). brings the dog to band camp every day. brought a taco truck his friend’s cousin’s roommate’s brother owns once.

i said matt can only play the triangle i was wrong. he also plays the tuba because in elementary school they started telling kids they can join music ensembles and matt saw band and thought it meant a cool rock band but upon finding out that’s not what it is at all he said “bring me your largest instrument” and played until fifth grade.

then he moved onto orchestra in middle school because he found out there’s an instrument called a bass and thought it would be a bass guitar. but it was even larger than the tuba so he dubbed it even cooler.

then in high school he finally formed a real indie rock band with him on the bass guitar, olia as the lead guitarist, nyma as the lead vocalist and a guitarist, and rolo on the drums. sometimes veronica joins them on the keyboard
