My (idiotic) Voltron Ice Pop theories

1. Galra vs Humans or Kurons vs Humans pls no

2. Aliens and humans get imprisoned by the Galra? The surroundings look like a prison.

1. James and Keith confront each other. Hopefully, James explains why he was a jerk to him. Or something happened to James and Keith is actually comforting him?

2. Coran talks to Keith about love since Coran’s pan and all

3. Coran is evil and Keith has to kill him.

4. Adam and Keith talk about Shiro. Adam confirms that it’s over with Shiro and it’s okay for Keith to be with Shiro.

1. Keith, Lance and Hunk perform something together (like they sing and/or dance on stage, probably in the other filler episode of the season)

2. They go on an epic mission together and it’s badass and they call themselves the Primary Colors.

3. Their bodies are stuck to each other and they have to figure out how to separate themselves from one another.

4. They form a new form of Voltron with just their Lions (could be a Dairugger reference)

1. Shiro vs Sendak (and one of them is down) or Shiro vs Lotor. or Sendak vs Lotor. I hope to God it’s not Shiro vs Haggar. I really think it’s Shiro vs Sendak because they have some serious beef to settle with each other

2. Lotor kills Haggar like in GoLion (that would mean he kills both his parents in VLD… that’s too dark for a kid’s show)

3. I hope nothing happens to Krolia.

1. Keith gets shot like in GoLion (or he just gets badly injured) along with Hunk or Coran OR ROMELLE, and Shiro’s not there cuz he’s off to get the baddie >:( with Krolia and the doggo hopefully.

2. Keith and James fight (the other Paladins are spectators) and Keith wins.

3. Keith had to kill evil Coran so he’s burying him :,(

4. They visit Keith’s dad’s grave together.

1. Pidge gets forcefully captured by the Galra… probably Haggar because she’s amazed that Pidge could overcome Kuron’s hacking in ‘The Black Paladins’. And Lance tries to save her but…?

2. Pidge sacrifices herself for the team and Lance finds it hard to accept, but he has no choice.

3. My sis said the green one could be Allura or Romelle since they can shape shift.

1. Keith also gets captured by the Galra OR he trades places with Pidge

2. Keith, Krolia and Shiro go on a mission together?

So, we know from like, earlier season, that Keith had a solid reaction to touching quintessence directly. His hand in the inside looked, well, purple. Not burnt or bruised kind either.

So

What I’m trying to say is

If he is exposed to large amounts of quintessence, he may turn more Galra looking than before.

And um

That’s a pretty big, yellow looking, explosion. Like the liquid(?) quintessence in earlier season.

And I don’t wanna be that person but

If it IS a quintessence infused explosion, and we don’t know how late into the season this scene is gonna take place, we may have a Galra looking Keith sooner than we know.

These shots are I guess foreshadowing to who’s gonna get what lion when the paladins retire? 

Black/Red - Griffin 

Yellow - Leifsdottir 

Green - Rizavi 

Blue - Kinkade 

Red (???) Veronica? 

It’s hard to say if Griffin get’s Red or Black because Veronica is kinda part of Atlas team.. Also her shot is different.

If Veronica is not supposed to be a paladin but stays with Atlas, then it means Keith will stay in Black with a new team I guess. It would be a shame to remove him from the role since he just settled down in that role after such a long journey.. I wouldn’t mind him leading the BOM tho

I got ALOT of questions about Acxa and Keith, so I’m just say what I think in this post. Cause things kinda fell into place for me right now through some twitter convos.

First of all:

Romance not gonna happen, for the only reason that this show has done nothing but break molds and do things we haven’t already seen 10000 times in other shows.

There’s no way in hell that a talented writing team like theirs is gonna go the cliche way of “boy and girl look at eachother 3 times and fall in love”, no way.

This kind of plot is a disservice to both Acxa and Keith’s characters.

What I think is gonna happen is that Acxa has been following Keith for the same reason she’s been following Lotor, because she is looking for a good leader to lead the Galra. 

But what Acxa needs to realize is that maybe she doesn’t need to follow someone who is a good leader, but to actually have faith in herself and become a good leader herself. 

So I guess Acxa will be the new Galra empress, and that would be super cool.

This show has had nothing but complex powerful women, and Acxa is not gonna be any different.

Keith is gonna stay with Shiro and his new team of paladins when the others retire, because he has just gotten into the leadership role, he didn’t struggle so much to get to that place just to go do something else now, I think.

So yeah, that’s my answer to all your fearful kacxa questions haha

After watching the heartbreaking, tearjerking finale of Voltron Legendary Defender, it gave me time to think about the future of the Paladins + Coran. Specifically their bloodlines. 

Now we don’t know much about the biology of the Galra species but we can assume that they have longer lifespans than humans. Lotor has lived for a very long time (long enough that he could establish a colony and see generations of said colony) and Zarkon has survived 10 000+ years with the likely help of quintessence. That being said, who’s our favourite half-galra paladin of Voltron? Mr emo boi Keith Kogane himself. 

Now this got me thinking. Under the assumption that Galra do live longer than humans, this means that Keith could quite possibly outlive the rest of the paladins and many of those he considers friends. 

Another thing. We also don’t know much about the biology of the Altean species but we can assume that they also live longer than humans. There’s no specific amount of time that the original paladins of Voltron served, but assuming that King Alfor had to plan and construct all five lions which could take a long time, then be one of the paladins and have a daughter who grew into a young adult, we can assume that Alteans have a longer lifespan. That being said, who’s our original Altean and our somewhat Altean? Coran and Lance. 

Now Coran, being slightly older, may not outlive Keith perhaps but Lance is a different situation. We don’t exactly know what happened to Lance when Allura (R.I.P.) turned him into an Altean. Did she just give him the face marks? Did she completely alter his bloodline and biology? We don’t know and we may never know for sure. But if she did alter his biology, then we can assume that he lives a longer. 

Now here comes the hurt.

Obviously the paladins don’t live forever. There will be at some point that a paladin doesn’t make it to the annual Allura (R.I.P) day dinner at Altea because they passed. Soon they just start disappearing one by one. And who’s left? Coran (possibly) but if we are going along with this theory, Keith and Lance will be the only ones left. 

If Coran was the only one left, it’ll be just like the beginning. Just him and Allura (R.I.P.) alone. But this time Allura’s (R.I.P.) a statue. Coran, being alone at the statue of the person he swore to protect and had come to protect the paladins that have gone before him. 

Now if Lance was the only paladin left, he’d be alone at the statue of the love of his life without his friends, the people who always had his back and he always had theirs. The people he had so selfless protected now gone and well, I imagine he’d be feeling a little lost. 

If Keith was the last one left, then he’d be alone at the statue like a lone wolf once again like he was at the start of the series and without the people he’s has come to let into his life and place his trust in. The people he’s come to accept as a family and put down his barriers for but now they’re gone and he’s alone again just like he was years ago. 

Well this was slightly emotional. oops.
