guys guys guys a friend did me a favor and drove some clothes over and it’s so freaking cold and he didn’t tell me he was outside my FRONT DOOR and i basically grabbed the clothes said thank you laughed forcefully and slammed the door shut . in hindsight i know it’s because i didn’t want him to stay standing in the cold but mmmmm someone end my misery

this pandemic has been especially hard for us soft-spoken bitches no one can hear us through our mask
one thing i never get tired of in songs is when they include some sounds from the recording booth like a laugh at the end, a ‘was that good?’ or like, the sounds of the guitar being put down, a chair creaking. it’s nice how music can be used as an escape but also something that ties you right back down to earth. it will affect you so deeply & then ur like wow… you just played that. it’s grounding & magical & just one of my fave things ever!
