#walk the dog

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Christmas day! It definitely looks a little different this year. We video chatted with my brothers today and watched a live stream of church last night. I still got out and got a little run in today with Luna! She stopped and sniffed a ton, but didn’t jump up on me while I ran, which is an improvement, lol. My favorite gift from the day is a weighted blanket which I’ve been asking for! Lunas favorite gift was a rubber chicken that she got in her stocking. Have a very merry Christmas!!!!

Getting off my butt for a walk with Luna! I’m trying to make healthier choices. My blood sugar and weight were down a little today! Yay! I had a virtual visit with my diabetes coach yesterday and she encouraged me to get outside and get some excercise especially since I miss running and have a small pile of virtual 5ks I need to do. I might try tackling one of them tomorrow. We will seeeeee. Also I wore makeup today cause I wanted to look cute for a mall outing today, I did NOT put makeup on to take the dog for a walk. At the mall I got a super cute new sweater and a Halloween Mickey Mouse at the Disney store! I’ll post a pic tomorrow! Hope everyone is surviving!

I went on a walk / a little jogging with Luna today! I was in the mood to go get some fresh air when I got off work so rather than lounging I put on some workout clothes and headed out! My new backpack worked perfectly, even if it is overkill for a half an hour walk.

I’ve been in a mood lately. Work is stressful and super anxiety inducing. I’m training someone new at a store that I’m not familiar with and I just feel a bit like I’m a bumbling idiot and not capable of my job, it’s just… frustrating I guess. But hopefully this week goes by fast.

The other day was super nice out so I went and did w3d3 again since I took a week off. Then my friend and I took Luna on a walk at the waterfront! She had a great time sniffing new things and meeting new pups! Yesterday I didn’t do much, but today the sun is starting to come out so I think I’ll go try out w4d2. I’ll update on that.
