Disneyland in 4k || Shot + Edited on the iPhone 6s

This is the organ music from Snow White (“Chorale For Snow White”). This is one of the saddest instrumental interludes in Disney history. It perfectly sets the scene for many a Guest boarding the Disney’s Magical Express back to the airport or driving home out of the Orlando area.

Earlyconcept artofTangled’s Flynn Rider when he was still referred to as Bastion. I’m kind of in love with this design; I like the idea of Flynn being this sort of big lovable lug. These images actually remind me a lot of my fiance and I - which is the reason why I love these drawings so much. Art by Jin Kim.

Happy Midsummer!

In Finland, we have many old traditions and charms regarding Midsummer. One that still continues today, is where a person collects seven different flowers (originally from seven different fields while being naked), places them under their pillow, and they would see their future spouse in a dream. I wonder if Cinderella is going to dream of a certain prince?

Do you have or do any Midsummer traditions or charms?

During the production of the 1953 film Peter Pan, Walt Disney shares a laugh with three children, performing as live-action reference models dressed as, from left to right, Wendy, Michael, and John Darling. Walt Disney’s animators would famously use live-action models as references for drawings and animations to create realistic movement, scale, and facial expressions. In addition to Peter Pan, live-action models were also used in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Alice in Wonderland (1951), Pinocchio (1940),andSleeping Beauty (1959).

Walt Disney by the Decade Challenge: The 1960s (7/7)

In the 1960s, Walt Disney imagined a sort of utopian community for people to live in, one that drastically differed from the dirty, crime-ridden cities that were sprinkled across the U.S. He called this community EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow). In the picture above, Walt Disney points to his initial plans for EPCOT in a short film that promoted his new idea.

Walt Disney died on December 15, 1966, only a couple of months after this photograph was taken.
