what you guys fail to understand is that when something bad happens to keith’s sims he feels so awful about it that he quits the game without saving and then starts it again so the sim doesn’t suffer. whereas lance gasps, says he’s sorry, and then immediately works the tragedy into the carefully constructed narrative he has in his head about all of his sims’ lives

pidge makes bad things happen on purpose, not because she enjoys suffering, but because he thinks it is an interesting social experiment and she wants to see how the ai will react.

hunk simply raises an eyebrow, shrugs, and then motherlode cheats the sim like $1,000,000 that he then uses to fulfill that sim’s dreams

shiro gets viscerally upset but feels it is against the logic of the game to redo it, so he spends the next hour trying to get his sim’s life back on track playing exclusively by the game’s rules. adam finds him crying in frustration an hour later because the damn sim doesn’t want to do anything except BREW COFFEE

allura decides to make this her sim’s joker moment and commits it to a life of crime and revenge against society. the sim becomes the leader of an underground mafia because their house caught on fire that one time. yes she has the ultraviolence mod installed

coran doesn’t play the sims bc he has 5 teenagers and 1 stressed millennial adult with lives entertaining and depressing enough that he doesn’t need to concoct interesting stories in life simulations. unrelated but he does sometimes purposefully leave lighters on the kitchen counter just to see what will happen
