Every walk is made better by friendly dogs. Chris and I really want to get a Shetland sheepdog so it was lovely meeting a rough collie, which is basically a giant version of that breed.

As we waited for my donation to process we made small talk. Apparently the frog population is has declined massively in the UK because of wetlands being destroyed. I wish I had the resources to have a little pond in my garden, one day maybe.

San Diego Zoo Global researchers have confirmed the presence of rare black leopards living in Laikipia County, Kenya. Sometimes called black panthers, the melanistic leopards were filmed in Lorok, Laikipia County, Kenya on remote cameras that were set up as part of a large-scale study aimed at understanding the population dynamics of leopards in Mpala and Loisaba Conservancies.

A very leafy jade! This one looks similar to the jade plant (Crassula ovata) that I have except mine is smaller, and only has about three rows of leaves on each branch. I wonder if this is a different species, or if mine could be like this someday under the right growing conditions. Seen at the Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge, Mass.
