Since June we’ve noticed that Zany’s stans always seem to have one excuse or another to dismiss her role in the situation. Many of which we still see going around now.
“her words are being taken out of context”
“she said she feels bad in private, and regrets her actions”
“she can’t be racist because she supports BLM”
“holding her accountable is hate, and drama”
Or claims that those who wish for her to take accountability for her actions don’t know the “real” context.
For those unaware:
This situation started when Zany posted a screenshot of a tweet by Lvlcurrent and a link to Tsuki’s twitter post which addressed her friend’s treatment in their server.
Not only was she dismissive of Lvl’s concerns when she was made aware that calling black people “chocolate” made them uncomfortable, but Zany and her friends would also misrepresent Tsuki’s post as her being upset over being banned. The post itself had nothing to do with her, but rather the way the group (mainly the two server owners Rosa, and Mandy) treated her friend when he expressed his concern about their role “chocolate angel” being fetishizing.
In response to Tsuki’s statement Zany made some very ignorant and racist comments, and laughed about being racist for reporting her.
When they first started losing followers in response to the situation instead of reflecting on their actions, Zany and the rest simply proceeded to antagonize those who unfollowed them. They didn’t care about their actions, they just cared about their follower count.
Stans have claimed that she regrets her actions and has educated herself as early as June, yet her actions would suggest otherwise.
Why would somebody who feels bad about what she did never apologize, but instead block the person who her friends mocked and threatened in their server along with the people they doxxed?
She’s supposedly regretted her actions, and has been working on that statement of hers for eight months now, yet it is nowhere to be found.
Why would she be looking to recruit artists for a zine run by Aurora and Rosa just a month after the incident if she felt bad about what happened in June?
Their Twitter was first set up in July, the store in August, and Aurora began openly promoting it in September. Zany also participated as one of their artists.
Anyone who read the description on their Redbubble could clearly see that their zine was a scam (claiming to be pay for print while asking for donations through Redbubble purchases).
Aurora started advertising this zine the month after she had doxxed four people, and Zany who had plenty of time to leave still remained. Aurora made the sassysalad account she would use to doxx them in August, and started promoting the zine on her tumblr and twitter in September when it would be cancelled due to “corona and personal issues” after they were exposed.
From what we’ve heard of their zine server it stayed up after the project was canceled, and all of the artists involved were lied to about the situation by Aurora and Zany.
Zany would also defend Aurora when she was called out on Twitter for whitewashing.
How does Zany retweeting BLM posts automatically make everything she said any less racist? Or excuse her continued support of a well-known racist?
You wouldn’t call Ted Bundy any less of a murderer because he worked for a suicide hotline.
One of their server’s own moderators tried to use BLM to claim that Aurora’s acid threat wasn’t racist, despite the fact that Aurora herself thinks BLM is racist.
How does calling out hate and racism in any way do more to create hate than leaving racist actions like those of Aurora, Zany, and the Hosts Club unchallenged? How does doing this create more hate than allowing those who spread hateful messages to continue to fester and grow within the fandom? If anything, it’s those who dismiss racism and harassment in the fandom as drama or discourse who play the largest part in perpetuating it.
The real context in this situation is Zany and friends trying to downplay and dismiss concerns about fetishization, and in her case doing so while handwaving it away as a BLM issue.
Another thing worth noting is that Aurora wasn’t the only person running that zine, Rosa ran it with her. The same Rosa who made the tone-deaf “we are all oppressed” argument to justify sweeping away the concerns of Tsuki’s friend in her post.
Rosa is someone who claims to care about POC issues, but only those which she personally finds concerning. Looking down on those who are non-native English speakers trying to engage with other fans, despite producing nothing but horrible writing herself, and then turning around and saying that it’s wrong to expect POC and poor people to understand the mechanics of writing like her.
She acts as if she does more for POC than they do for themselves by speaking over them, and deciding what issues really matter for them.
Rosa also has a history of darkening her skin either with makeup or spray tanner in order to try and pass herself off as a brown woman when she’s actually a white passing Latina, both on discord and on social media. (there’s a lot to be said about her, but that deserves its own post)
If Zany felt bad she wouldn’t still be supporting her racist friends, or making up lies about what really happened.
The only people out to make them look bad are themselves, and we’ve yet to see any sign that they care about the people they’ve hurt with their actions.

FYI, none of her photos have been edited, (aside from those uninvolved being cropped and censored out) and we have video of her posting herself painted orange on discord.

Do you guys remember Brianna? The person who sent thinly veiled threats to @storiesofsass, and admitted that she was complicit in helping Aurora stalk and doxx four people? The same one who ran to defend Rosa and Mandy when they were rightfully called out?
Remember when their Facebook group’s mod chat was leaked, and how Rosa and Mandy both talked about her behind her back?
About how she was lacking a certain charm, was too sensitive, and how she was intentionally making their characters weaker to make herself look better? Or when Mandy called her portrayal of them offensively bad?
How about when Rosa talked about putting POC characters at the forefront of her stories as heroes and tried to use Brianna’s OC Isabel as an example? Someone who is at best featured in a single story that Rosa co-authored. Not to mention that she brought this up immediately after her and her friend Mandy banned and harassed someone for expressing his concern about fetishization in their server.
Trashing someone in private, and then trying to use the fact that she wrote her OC and roleplays with her for clout.
Imagine doing all that to defend friends like this.
I thought we’d finally covered everything, and were done with this woman after we made this thread, but it appears we stepped in more of her shit and it’s about time we went over it.
First off, calling Angel and her friend “whitewashed Latinas”? Because they don’t try to paint themselves another race, think that speaking broken grade school Spanish is a flex, or cling onto their daddy’s heritage for clout like it’s the only thing they have?
Accusing a real disabled woman of faking it and being ableist while she openly talked about struggling to get help for months is such a willfully ignorant take that I’m not going to even humor it.
Angel has also never said that she was a black woman, she’s always said she’s Puerto Rican. Just because two black women didn’t like your nonsense that doesn’t mean they’re lying about anything.
Hell, Brianna has been a part of your group for years. This is someone you’ve seen photos of, spoken to on VC, roleplayed with, co-wrote a story with, and allowed to mod your server. How are you even going to accuse her of being some fake black woman alt account? Especially when she was one of the first people to run to your defense online.
How is Tsuki any more of a fake BLM supporter, and advocate for white supremacist talking points than the actual white woman you and your friends had using BLM to justify an acid threat towards her?

Since you felt like publicly stating that you’ve been asking your friends to help you doxx these women, helping you find their workplaces and family members; I hope you know there’s an FBI report filed with your name on it.
