Here’s a #wipwednesday I did in my #sketchbook last night. I’m super excited to scan this in and turn it into an illustration. I had been sketching a lot of rococo/Marie Antoinette stuff for practice and this came out of it.

#WIPWednesday: slideshow of progress shots of a piece I’ve been working on, on-and-off for a while which is another redux of an old piece, smaller this time. A sort of Art Deco Wonder Woman inspired piece that would have gone on my wall for the Norwescon Art show, but Norwescon got cancelled, so I guess I get to hold onto this and that elf I posted last week a bit longer.

Anyhow, there’s some metallic gold gel pen to be added to help clean up some of my messiness and to finish this piece up the way I’d imagined it.
.
Oh, and this is a mix of black pigment ink (for the base line work), coffee (for the background and skin tone), and watercolor brush pens (for all color).
