Man I’ve watched Kayvan saying Nandor might be falling for Guillermo so many times it’s crazy. I’m like so a part of him knows how special and important and real and great his love for Guillermo could be so he’s just running full tilt in the other direction looking for someone safe to stand in as that person for him because he can’t risk the pain loosing Guillermo would cause??????????????? And Guillermo is out here assuming Nandor would never love him like that even though he absolutely loves Nandor. Like it’s Austenian. Shakespearean. I know I’m insane but like????? You know????
nandor calling guillermo little rascal is actually very personal bc this is probably the first time in a month that he could really let his guard down and let himself feel so comfortable around guillermo that he can call him names. before he was consistently fighting for guillermo’s life and also dealing with the fact that the person he trusted most was lying to him, and before that he was also dealing with guillermo leaving him. he never got to really let that sink in and everything he thought he knew was a lie and before they even decided that they weren’t going to kill guillermo, nandor didn’t know where he stood with him or if guillermo would want to stay with him at all. even in 3x01 nandor can’t look guillermo in the eye bc he doesn’t know if what he’s saying is true and when he goes to visit him in the cage he looks away when guillermo talks about him being a warrior. nandor knows guillermo makes him vulnerable and he doesn’t know if he can trust himself around him anymore but he doesn’t want to lose him so in ep 2 you can see a kind of shift in his demeanor, he’s lighter, more clam and comfortable. he knows for certain guillermo will stay but he also keeps up the distance bc he knows guillermo has a power over him that he doesn’t understand, so he settles for whispered words like little rascal as guillermo breaks into the air vent
Is no one gonna talk about the fact that Nandor just assumes that Laszlo’s top-notch flirting technique is talking about Guillermo? Like, Nandor doesn’t even question it…
The best thing about S3 Guillermo is we’re getting to see a new side of him; he’s standing up for himself, he’s talking back more. And dare I say he’s proving himself to be quite manipulative?
Thus far we have been treated to two episodes, back to back, about Nandor’s love life or the lack thereof. One episode confirmed that Guillermo does have a crush on Nandor (and it is implied that that is the reason he has stayed so long as a Familiar rather than just leaving). The other episode is about Gail.
Now just a disclaimer; I’m firmly with Nadja in my opinions about Gail. I don’t dislike her per se (I think the story could have done something much better with the plot device) — I’m quite indifferent about Gail and I wasn’t too worried about her “stealing Nandor” or being a homewrecker. But just like Nadja, I can tell she’s been stringing Nandor along and that’s just not okay (you could also argue that Nandor’s being stringing Guillermo along about becoming a vampire).
The only purpose of Gail was to illustrate the fact that Nandor is use to being disappointed by the ones he loves — which really plays into my theory as to why he won’t turn Guillermo into a vampire.
When Guillermo and Nandor eventually have their heart to heart about why Nandor won’t turn Guillermo, I bet Nandor will initially explain that he wants to spare Guillermo from the misery and loneliness of immortal life — which is a valid reason in and of its self but it’s not the main reason.
Ultimately, Nandor will admit that he is afraid that Guillermo will leave him after becoming a vampire because he won’t need Nandor anymore — and that highlights Nandor’s deepest insecurity; loneliness.
Ideal Ending
For all it’s crass about nudity, sexuality and sex, WWDITS is pretty sparse of PDA. The most Laszlo and Nadja have done is hold hands and have sex in batform. So I’m not expecting Nandor and Guillermo to go heavy on the PDA either. In fact I don’t really see their relationship as very romantic but something deeper like an everlasting companionship.
I definitely think the series will end with Guillermo becoming a vampire because that’s what he deserves. But at the moment, the chances of Nandor being the one to change him is 50/50.
Perhaps another vampire turns Guillermo by chance. Or someone has to turn Guillermo to save him from dying after protecting the vampires, and that is the kick up the ass Nandor needs to realise his feelings. Nandor would much rather curse Guillermo with immortality than lose him forever. And as a means of repairing their relationship, perhaps Nandor organises a coffin for Guillermo next to his own — that would be really sweet.

He has beef with vampire Mark Hamill over $200. He’s a lawyer. He’s never won a case. He’s a bastard who treats nearly everyone like shit. He cares So Much about his friends. He plays a flute that can control raccoons. He owned a cursed hat made out of witches skin. He’s even bisexual
