Some more cover concepts I did for @dalilacaryn’s upcoming fantasy novel The Battle for the Sky. Final cover reveal coming this Friday!! ✨
It was such a joy to work with Dalila again on this project. I got to read the book before starting on the cover, and absolutely feel in love with the story and amazing characters. The story is so emotional and powerful with a hint of romance that I love.
We both really liked these cover concepts, but felt they didn’t tell enough of a story, and the four on the left felt a little too much sci-fi the final cover we went with is much more personal. You will see soon!

I had a ton of fun when I created this illustration. I did have to practice drawing wolves first but that as well was a lot of fun.

Today is the official release date of the third novel I’ve illustrated for author Dalila Caryn!
It’s called Armored Mage, and is the third book in a six part epic fantasy series called The Forgotten Sister. It is currently already available through Dalila Caryn’s website and will become available in the coming weeks on Amazon and Barnes&Noble!

I am incredibly proud of this book. Dalila has done an INCREDIBLE job, once again dazzling me with her emotional writing, deep understanding of people and their relationships, and her AMAZING characters. And I was thrilled to once again have the opportunity to support this beautiful story with illustrations. I also got to design the full cover for this one, which was such a fun challenge, to make sure it fit the look of the previous two, but try and make it my own.
If you like epic fantasy, fairies, and amazingly written, powerful female characters, do yourself a favor and check out this series. I’ve fallen deeply in love with this story and characters and cannot recommend it enough.
