Lala Stellune’s chosen character: Dr. Zone from Milo Murphy’s Law
“I don’t really know any characters that do self love but I will tell you about a character that led me into self-love. You see, I’ve been drawn into a character named Dr. Zone (real name Orton Mahlson, but let’s just call him Dr. Zone). Like what I would usually do to characters I like, I would follow their voice actor. In Dr. Zone’s case, his voice actor is Jemaine Clement, so I decided to see what other roles Jemaine had done. Little did I know that Jemaine has portrayed characters who behaved like me. As an autistic woman who had been considered the “different one” because of my erratic behavior, deep inside I had been seeking someone who acted like me because I was lonely. With Jemaine’s characters’ behavior which resembled my own ranging from missing social cues, rigid thinking, to having a meltdown, I became less alone, and I began to accept and love myself for who I am.” —Lala Stellune

Natalie C’s chosen character: Matilda from Matilda
“Among a self-destructive family Matilda was able to look into herself for love and happiness. She learned her own strength and kindness to not only help herself, but to help her new friends.” —Natalie C

Sena’s pick: Evie Moore, her own OC from a LARP called Twin Mask, and her love for art
“Evie is a character I created for a fantasy LARP I do. She speaks through her art and is really brave and bold with her pieces. She does a lot of political works signed off anonymously that could get her in a lot of trouble, but that’s never stopped her!” —Sena
Kyuu’s pick: Retsuko from Aggretsuko and her secret love for singing Death Metal
“I think Aggretsuko’s secret love of singing death metal karaoke is the best thing I’ve ever seen ✨ What a way to destress (I also love how that she finds friends that are 100% supportive of this hobby)” —Kyuu
Passion Week Artist Feature: Turtle-Brownie[Tumblr|Instagram]
Turtle-Brownie’s chosen character: Millicent, their own OC, and her love for reading
“Millicent always grew up isolated from thrilling experiences, leaving her to only knowing about her world and the things outside of it through books.” —Turtle-Brownie

Samara’s chosen character: Jester from Critical Role and her love for drawing
“Jester’s way of drawing is one of the purest depictions of loving art that I’ve seen. She uses it both as a way to bring her silly and fun imaginations to life, as well as to deal with some more complex emotions, but not matter what it’s always in the most Jester-y way possible. She doesn’t let fear of what others think stop her from being her and making the things she wants to make, and I think that’s amazing.” —Samara Lee
Farid’s chosen character: Kenji, their own OC, and his love for origami
“Kenji is my current fixated character, and his passion for drawing patterns and making his own paper to craft his own origami is very sweet to me because it’s one of his biggest creative outlets! He’s good at making a lot of animals! His favourite are sharks.” —Farid

“I love Oikawa and Iwa-chan so much, their friendship blooms like flowers and they work so hard together, it’s heartwarming. Their connections to each other are actually the SWEETEST. They tease each other a lot and they help each other when the other needs it. They are everyone’s best friend goals. When I think of best friends, I’ll think of Oikawa and Iwa-chan.” —tangyuan

“I wonder if you’ll let me buy something on the way home.”
I slid the slinging bag on my shoulder. I was thinking of bubble tea. Maybe ice-cream. Stuff that both of us like.
Iwa-chan’s eyes bounced back and forth, navigating the empty streets. He didn’t stop walking. “Maybe not. We have to rest after a long match today, Oikawa.” His fist clenched and relaxed maybe a million times in a second, and he blinked his eyes before letting his gaze fall to the ground.
“Iwa-chan!” I knew he wanted ice-cream. Or bubble tea. Or a strawberry milkshake. “It won’t take long. It’s on the way.”
I bent my back so my gaze could lock with his, but there was no use. He avoided every inch of eye contact. His face turned cold, and his steps fell in synchronisation with mine.
I backed off— and stopped walking. “Are you angry at me?”
His head whipped back at me so fast, I thought he was going to run away and leave me alone on this street. I thought maybe he found me so annoying that he’d finally give up on me now.
But he didn’t— and he sighed.
He swung his bag back on his shoulder and took a turn at the corner of the street. “Come on.” His voice was low, barely audible. His eyes met mine. “What do you wanna get? I was thinking—” an inch of a smile peaked from the edge of his lips— “maybe ice-cream.”
Best Friends Week Artist Feature: Gianna[Tumblr|Twitter]
Gianna’s chosen best friends: Jester Lavorre and Mollymauk Tealeaf from Critical Role
“I adore all of the Mighty Nein relationships, but the Disaster Tieflings hold a special place in my heart. My favorite moment of theirs is when they first meet–I just really love that exchange. Their personalities just make for some really delightful scenes–and, no spoilers, but there’s many feels in there too.” —Gianna

Dana’s chosen family: IPRE Crew from The Adventure Zone
“I’ll try not to spoil the Stolen Century for folks, but I recently re-listened to the Balance arc from TAZ and I love the family that evolved out of the seven crew members over a 100 year journey. Since all the characters are played by a real family, there’s a lot of honesty put into these characters and their relationships and it’s fun to listen to.” —Dana
Oliver’s chosen family: RGB and Hero from The Property of Hate (by @albionhands on Twitter)
“We get to watch RGB go from “I refuse to hold this child’s hand,” to “I would literally die for this child,” after having promised not to get attached. They’re a dysfunctional found family, but a small family nonetheless.” —Oliver
Allynabean’s Chosen Family: The IPRE Crew/the Seven Birds from The Adventure Zone: Balance
“They show how seven people unexpectedly stuck together for almost a century grow extremely close- The only people who were constants for that century were each other. Even when everything went bad and they were all split up and alone, they had a happy ending, all together and making up for lost time and mistakes.” —Allynabean
