穴守稲荷神社 （東京都練馬区旭丘1-20-5)
Anamori Inari Shrine (1-20-5 Asahigaoka, Nerima, Tokyo)
I stumbled across this unusual shrine while biking from Ikebukuro to Nerima. I’ve never seen a shrine built into a house (and a somewhat modern house at that). After researching the name Anamori Inari Shrine, I found that there is a quite large and famous Anamori Inari Shrine in Ota ward, and that this house serves as a local branch office with an extremely small shrine attached to the front.
This has got to be the strangest shrine I have encountered to date. Has anyone else ever seen a shrine like this?

一番人気の「焼き顎塩ラーメン」
あっさりとした塩スープ、塩だがスープは醤油の色。
チャーシューの種類が豊富で、様々な食感を味わえる。極太メンマは加熱してあり熱々。スープを冷まさない工夫がある。
沈んでいて見えないが二郎系の様なタレの染みた@マーク豚のチャーシューも楽しめる素晴らしいラーメンで、二郎系好きも惹き込まれる。
完飲。
銀座鴨そば九代目けいすけ（銀座）
鴨白湯そば極み
濃厚スープ、全粒粉のモチモチ麺、黄卵、レアの鴨チャーシュー、肉汁溢れる肉団子。
かなりレベルの高いお店、絶品………。
完飲。
太陽のトマト麺
トマト麺並盛
トマトスープとラーメンの絶妙なバランスが最高。
食べてる途中チーズがとろけて麺に絡んでもう絶品。

ラーメン並盛
煮干し系濃厚スープが細麺と絶妙に合う。
チャーシューは鴨肉、極太メンマが濃厚スープと合って美味。

スープが美味しくて飲み干すレベル、豚も分厚い@マーク豚でほろほろ、ほろほろなのでスープも染みるのでそれがまた美味しかった。

つけ麺特盛 チャーシュー増し。
全粒粉タイプのつけ麺でモチモチ感、あっさりチャーシューをレモンつけて食べるのがとても美味しかった。スープは魚と豚らしい。

クリーミーな味噌系二郎ラーメン。
魚介系×豚骨スープかな………？ド乳化スープで野菜と合う。麺はもっちりモチモチ、とても美味しかった。
ラーメン二郎 新宿歌舞伎町店（新宿駅）
小豚ラーメン カラメ以外全部マシマシ
豚が肉々しい感じで美味しい、かつての大宮二郎を彷彿させる。
カラメした方が良いのかマシマシにした方が良いのか忘れてしまったので今度チェックする。
ラーメン富士丸(北区 赤羽駅)
ブタメン(豚5枚, 野菜増しニンニク増し豚入りアブラ)
元々ラーメン二郎のお店っぽい。
野菜がクタで味染みてて美味い、麺も自家製で大宮二郎を思い出す細くもコシのある麺。
たまごは味付けアブラにいれると美味

特性ラーメン
様々な低音加熱チャーシューが舌触りもよく、柔らかく口の中でホロホロ。
中央にあるタケノコはコリコリと硬そうに見えるが食べてみるとチャーシューと同じぐらい柔らかく驚いた、特殊な調理をしているタケノコ。
タケノコが美味しいラーメン、また食べに行きたい。

煮干しラーメンのお店。
すごい煮干しが食べたくなったらここ。麺もモチモチで濃厚煮干しスープに合う美味しいラーメン。

味は薄めのスープ。チャーシューや麺、素材の味を楽しむラーメン

スープに深みがあって美味、チャーシューも低音加熱チャーシューで見た目も美味しい。
メンマがほんのり梅のような和風の味がする。食べごたえあるメンマで大満足
【MENSHO サンフランシスコ(新宿区 新宿駅ミロード)】
鶏白湯麺チーズ
鶏白湯の濃厚な旨味を味わえるスープ。つけ麺並に濃厚なスープだが麺が細くあっさり感もある。
鶏白湯の濃厚さとチーズが絶妙で非常に美味。
新宿のラーメンで悩んだらMENSHO サンフランシスコに行けば間違いない。
Thinking of spring brings back memories of sakura (桜) and hanami (花見) in Tokyo. The brief blooms often infect me with some melancholy. The blossoms at Aoyama Cemetery (青山霊園) have that effect in abundance; however, I often break that sadness by thinking anyone able to afford a family grave here must have lived a good life.
This photo was taken on a brief detour one fine spring morning almost 7-years ago.
My friends always found me alittle strange, especially when i took them on shortcuts through this Cemetery

This red beauty is a 70’s vintage Ferrari 512 BB spotted at January’s Morning Cruise at Daikanyama T-Site. Although it was not in the spirit of January’s “Green” theme, I’m sure that no one would dare ask this beauty to move. 。 。 。

Not sure why I remember this, but I took this shot of sake bottles and cups displayed in the window of a bar in Azabu Juban called “ラッキー酒場” or “Lucky Bar” in English. For some reason, the sign had written in English “Plane Deep Fried Chicken”. I never went in to find out why…. Someone once told me there chicken was really good, now it’s too far for me to find out if it is true… :-(

Last year I spotted this classic Ferrari F40 supercar cruising through one of Harajuku’s side streets. According to Wikipdia only 1,311 were produced between 1987 and 1992. 。 。 。
