Chris Hemsworth returns as the Asgardian Avenger to find his universe on the verge of destruction at the hands of Hela (Cate Blanchett). Powerless without his mighty hammer, he must first survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally, the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki alongside Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins and new face in the franchise Jeff Goldblum.

Thor: Ragnarok in theaters November 3.

While we get a glimpse at Amy Adams, the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) is noticeably absent. Likely to keep fans guessing since his fate was left up in the air in last year’s Batman vs. Superman.

Justice League hits theaters November 17th.

While the plot is being kept mostly under wraps, we know they play Jim and Aurora, two passengers onboard a spaceship transporting them to a new colony along with 5,000 others. The voyage takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them out of suspended animation, 90 years before they reach their destination.  

Hollywood has been enthralled by the script since 2007, when it was included on the annual list of the most liked and still unproduced screenplays.

“It was a popular script. It’s one of those stories that really grabs you and you fall in love with it. It’s very smart and funny and clever and such a page-turner I couldn’t put it down. Every 10 pages, something new happens!” director Morten Tyldum told Entertainment Weekly. "At the same time it’s a very intimate movie while taking place on this epic scale… Every generation has its love story. I feel like this is it.“

The highly-anticipated sci-fi adventure-romance hits theaters December 21.

The actor penned, directed and stars in the Prohibition-era film based on Dennis Lehane’s novel of the same name. Affleck plays Joe Coughlin, the son of the Boston Police Superintendent who turns to a life of organized crime in the 1920s. His rise to infamous gangster leads him to pursue bootlegging in Florida and Cuba.

Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller, Chris Messina, Elle Fanning and Chris Cooper round out the cast. Live By Night is slated to open January 13, 2017.

Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mads Mikkelsen also star.

Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters November 4.

WATCH NOW: Wonder Woman is getting her own origin story in the first trailer for the eponymous film. 

The footage dropped during the Comic-Con panel on Saturday with the story kicking off with warrior Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) finding a man, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), washed up on the beaches of Themyscira, where the Amazons have dwelled in secrecy for centuries. Learning that the outside world stands on the brink of a global conflict, they head off to Europe to deal firsthand with warfare.

The standalone film is set to hit theaters June 2017.
