I’m late to the party but I did a 2021 art summary using the template made by @mossygator
It was interesting to see a year’s worth of work all put together like this- if nothing else, it showed me how erratic my output is, and how bad I am at keeping track of my files! I didn’t realize how much stuff I never uploaded anywhere, or uploaded one place and forgot the rest, and so on. It was also a real struggle to find something to put for a couple of the months. Consistency in style or content? I don’t know them. Goals for 2022 include more pretty gorls, more feathery assholes, and more slimy things in tidepools, I suppose!

Im content with this year :) i feel ive made some progress in several areas, with a plan on how to refine and what to work on next year

I finally made enough art to make one of this!!! :D
i know i don’t post as often here anymore but here’s my annual art summary!!!
a lot happened this past 2021, it was definitely rocky and tested a lot of my resolve at times, and i decided to take a break from comms for November and December.
But there’s a lot i’m proud of this year as well– from being able to illustrate the cover for Once More Into The Void, to multiple romance covers for Heart’s Choice :D

My 2021 Art summary
Is my first time doing one, because it’s also the first time I almost got something new to share each month.
I still have a couple of unfinished or secret projects that will have to wait a little bit more, for next year!
Let’s hope for more art in 2022!
2021 art highlights!
As you probably have noticed, at the beginning of this year CQL/MDZS grabbed me by ankles and dragged me deep down, which really gave me back my motivation to draw, and honestly that felt so good. So while I slowed down with drawing in the second half of 2021 as a lot of major life changes started happening, I am actually still super satisfied with this year! I started experimenting a lot more with brushes/textures/techniques, tried to push myself out of my comfort zones from time to time, and overall had lots of fun making all these!

Anyway, here’s my 2021 Art summary.
This year was…. Weird and Experimental. A lot of things happened, so many things happened… TOO MANY things happened.
Fun facts:
01 - Jan: Moved back home, not much besides this eternal WIP
03 - March: Got sick, and my carpal tunnel was at its worst, forcing me to adapt and make my art more… rough and sketchy?
06 - June: Nothing but cats!! (was fun tho!)
07 - July: COVID kicked my ass. This was the only thing i drew that month
08 - August: Nothing but BUGS (hollow knight) i really went ham.

new year tends to fill me with dread but AT LEAST its art summary time once again!! think ive finally busted out of my like 2-year art block and decided to jsut fuck around and have fun again. love how its almost exclusively cr, natsume, and orv. feels good feels right. also i have 11 of these now?? ive been doing these since i was 14 what!!!! thats so fucking wild to think about its sooo satifsying and excitign to see the progress through the years which is why i look forward so much to compling these every year!! even if i sometimes feel like ive been stumbling for year im still going and i am so so happy about it U_U <3

2021 Art Summary.
Happy New Year everyone! Here’s my 2021 art summary (+2020 because I never got round to doing it last year).
Looking back, as last year was a big year for me personally (finished my undergrad, got a job, moved to a new city) I definitely only made art to create something quickly and have some fun while doing so (which led to a lot of characters in floating empty spaces )
In 2022 I’d like to keep making art fun for myself but make more ambitious pieces, I have so many ideas but never commit because I was afraid to do so!
