Motherland Fort Salem fandom doing a racism again, complaining about Adil getting screen time cause he a man …last I checked Scylla is white and that’s enough of a reason to me for why Adil should get more screen time.
But Scylla and Raelle’s relationship is lgbt and that deserves screen time, *shrugs* white lgbt ships are not a new thing, interracial couples that don’t involve a white person on the other hand…
Also logically Adil is getting screen time b/c Abigail who’s a lead is getting screen time, like he’s in a majority of her scenes, he’s an extension of Abigail’s storyline.
So please shut the f*ck up.
Eta: I’m not trying to minimize/invalidate anyone’s feelings or try to make a sport about which representation is important, it is however suppose to be a reminder to stop looking at everything through the lens of just gender b/c race is also a factor here.
Also that last paragraph is important, this show is not going against it’s mission statement about focusing on female characters, there really is a logical explanation for Adil’s screen time and it’s b/c he’s in Abigail’s scenes so the righteous angers need to simmer.
