The large leather medicine vial box has been sold and on its way to its new home! Already eager to get a review from the customer on how they like it and what they think when they have it in their possession. In my haste for pictures I forgot one of the key decorations. The ornament charm for the flap in the middle. So i got that finished up so it’s all complete now. Also I love the filter in the second picture makes things pop more imo.

Finally finished this project. Was long overdue but finally managed the time in to get it done! Have to say the longest part of any of my bigger pouch projects like this is the hand stitching.

A little about this project. I like to make things for fantasy outfits and costumes. So instead of the usual drawstring pouch I wanted to make like a belt type briefcase/satchel. Mainly for those who like to go above and beyond in their aesthetics and to still have something functional. A pouch can only just hold what’s inside of it. While this design can add to it even more.

The case itself has two loops for attaching it to a belt. It is 2 inches deep, 10.5 inches wide, and 7 inches tall. So it can hold a tablet, books, wallets, handpurse, etc. There is a front pocket flap that can hold a checkbook, or smartphone, or just notes/documents. As well as a small key clamp that can hold keys or whatever else you have on a keyring.

Additionally on one side is a big D ring which can hold a drawstring pouch or whatever else one might want to attach there. The other side has 2 small O rings which can hold potion bottles, small pouches, or other items that can be hooked or attached. The bottom of it there is a small gap that I left when doing the bottom straps around the body so it can be used to hold a scroll of paper.

I’ll have this up on the shop soon, just need to get some better pics. Took these in my haste just to share with you all!

Final cost of newly purchased materials for the Silica (OS ver.) costume was around $43. I reused a wig and circle lenses for the cosplay, which cut the cost down by at least half.

The most expensive investment (other than 2 months’ time) was the teal polyester twill for the dress and shoes at $8. I lucked out with the base shoes by finding a pair for $5. All of the buttons (12 on the dress, 4 on the gloves, 8 on the socks, 2 on the shoes) were around $6 after using a ton of 50% off coupons and finding 2 old buttons in my stash.

Belt progress for Silica (OS ver.)The shell of the belt was white matte satin with interfacing backing and the lining was white poplin. Finished dimensions were around 25″-25.5″ long, 2.375″ wide. Black top thread detail.The buckle was 3D-printed and painted gold. The fabric backing was gold satin with interfacing and two snaps sewed in before being super glued to the buckle back. Matching snaps were also sewn on the to the ends of the belt.

The “choker” on the Ordinal Scale outfit isn’t really a choker but the top part of a haptic full-body bib players can wear while playing the game.

I figured that since so little of it is shown and without that much time left to complete the costume, it seemed like an acceptable compromise to reduce it to a 0.625″ ribbon choker, held closed by sew-in Velcro.

Love this N21 envelope clutch. It just has such an organized ‘cool girl’ style about it.
