Sketchbook dump! I’ve built up a bit of a backlog because I’ve been working a lot of overtime the past couple weeks. All of these are original characters from different head worlds of mine. Curious about any of them? Feel free to ask.
Pencil and brush-tip ink pens. I have plans to try to digitally color some of these, but we’ll see if that ever happens.
Got around to making the first of many of these fur pouch bags. Came out pretty decent and it’s super soft. If I had a giant sheet instead of small trim of this stuff I’d make a pillow! Perfect for any outfit one would wear at a renfaire or medieval type attire. Meant for coins but big enough to hold some other small items too, like keys, or ID cards. Should have these up in the shop soon!
Alchemist/Doctor medicine vial box is now complete! Took it for a test run outside, and by run, I mean wearing it casually walking around…not running around. Sadly I dont have a cool medieval attire to showcase with it. Passed with high expectations though! No mini vials popping out of the side hub, and nothing chaotic happened inside the bag. The bag stays close to the hip and doesnt weigh the belt down while walking around. The latch lock works well for the flap and it’s easy to open and close while being worn. The clasps on the O rings are removable and can be put at the ends of a long strap of it has a hole to hook them in and can be worn over the shoulder as well. Look for this to be listed soon!
This pouch will be up in the shop soon. Large waist pouch made from suede leather with the flap and front latch made from vegetable tanned leather and dyed dark brown. The flap attaches to the pouch by a deer antler tip from the underside, making it not only easy to open and close but keeps it from popping open when being worn. Very handy for LARP, Renfaire, or cosplay conventions since the pouch is very large and can hold lots of items while keeping a costume aesthetic feel.

The large leather medicine vial box has been sold and on its way to its new home! Already eager to get a review from the customer on how they like it and what they think when they have it in their possession. I dont know if I will make another one of these yet or not, I’ll most likely wait for their review first. This is my first big sale on etsy which I’m grateful for since all proceeds from this sale are going into taking my cat to the vet for bloodwork to find out what is wrong with him. <3 so a big thank you to the buyer!!
In my haste for pictures I forgot one of the key decorations. The ornament charm for the flap in the middle. So i got that finished up so it’s all complete now. Also I love the filter in the second picture makes things pop more imo.
Finally finished this project. Was long overdue but finally managed the time in to get it done! Have to say the longest part of any of my bigger pouch projects like this is the hand stitching.
A little about this project. I like to make things for fantasy outfits and costumes. So instead of the usual drawstring pouch I wanted to make like a belt type briefcase/satchel. Mainly for those who like to go above and beyond in their aesthetics and to still have something functional. A pouch can only just hold what’s inside of it. While this design can add to it even more.
The case itself has two loops for attaching it to a belt. It is 2 inches deep, 10.5 inches wide, and 7 inches tall. So it can hold a tablet, books, wallets, handpurse, etc. There is a front pocket flap that can hold a checkbook, or smartphone, or just notes/documents. As well as a small key clamp that can hold keys or whatever else you have on a keyring.
Additionally on one side is a big D ring which can hold a drawstring pouch or whatever else one might want to attach there. The other side has 2 small O rings which can hold potion bottles, small pouches, or other items that can be hooked or attached. The bottom of it there is a small gap that I left when doing the bottom straps around the body so it can be used to hold a scroll of paper.
I’ll have this up on the shop soon, just need to get some better pics. Took these in my haste just to share with you all!
Medieval Alchemist / Medicine box. Will have this listed up in my Etsy shop by this weekend. Link to my shop is in my bio! Will update story when it is listed and it’s the only one so first come first serve! Will come with all pictured: 2 bottles, 9 large vials and case, 6 small vials, and belt attachment piece. A long strap can be used for over the shoulder carry as well if it has clasps on the end of strap to hook onto the boxes handles.
Just finished sanding and cleaning up all these little guys! There were 5 casualties due to butterfingers with the Dremel (to be fair these things are tiny) but this will still be a pretty big batch!
I’m going to try and finish painting them all tonight so I can release them tomorrow but it might take a few days. I even bought a fancy new #brokentoad brush for all the tiny details that no one ever notices. XD
It’s been getting nippy around the inn recently and I’ve been more than cranky when forced to leave the comforts of my little nest. Lets just say whoever wakes me up usually gets a lovely pillow to the head… or a shoe… whichever I can grab first.
Ehem. Anyway, in order to instill myself with motivation and pursue new and exciting adventures (Because, lets admit, the life of an avid gamer is just exhausting! Think of all the energy my poor little thumbs use!) I’ve been religiously concocting wholesome breakfasts fit for a champion.
Now, I know you are probably thinking, “Ohhhh yeaaah! Bring on the bacon!” While I’d love to say yes to you, my cholesterol is saying oh dear god no! So we’ll keep it simple, but filling none the less.

Nothing could be healthier and heartier than this: cinnamon oats, yogurt with assorted nuts, a boiled egg topped with a Swedish inspired larrupin sauce, an apple, and a whole cup of English breakfast tea?
Oats with Cinnamon Ingredients: ¼ cup Rolled Oats ½ - ¾ cup of water (depending on how fast you are cooking it) 1 tbs flax 1 tsp of honey 1 handful of raisins ¼ tsp of cinnamon ¼ cup of milk
Preparation: 1. Add the oats and water to a sauce pan and turn the burner to med/high heat. Once the water begins to boil, reduce heat and cover with a lid.
2. When the oats thicken, take them off the burner and mix in flax, honey, raisins, cinnamon, and milk. Feel free to substitute any other ingredients, or simply leave them out.
Egg with Swedish Inspired Larrupin Sauce Ingredients: 1 boiled egg -sauce- 1 part mustard 1 part veganaise (or regular mayo if you must, yucko!) 1 part dill weed 1 part apple cider vinegar salt and pepper to taste
Preparation: 1. Cut the boiled egg in half. Prepare the sauce mixture; by adding more vinegar, you can make it tangier; by adding more veganaise you can make it sweeter; and by adding more mustard you can make it spicier. Put desired amount on top of egg once it is cooled.
I trust you don’t need me explaining the preparation of an apple. Nor do you need to know how to scoop yogurt or steep tea… but if you do… i suppose you could ask? Bon appetite darlings.
Bannock Doesn’t that golden bun just look scrumptious?
Quick bread, more commonly referred to asBannockis a staple to most meals served at The Drunken Sheep. Its buttery, biscuit like texture will have you pining for the entire loaf!
If you’ve ever read The Mists of Avalon, or more recently watchedtheOutlander series I’m sure you are already know that this bread is native to the Highlands. And what better ingredients to serve it with than that of cheese and honey?

Although Bannock seems an easy bread to make, there’s actually a lot that can go wrong if you do not baby your bun; else it’ll turn into a pretty decent Frisbee, if you ask me. I mean, it can really catch some air!!! Ehem… so anyway, as I was saying: you’ll have to baby your bun. That is making sure the griddle is greased enough so the bread does not stick or burn, in addition to making sure it cooks all the way through. Before I scare you off, I assure you, it really is worth the time and effort.
Bannock Ingredients: 1 ½ cup of flour ½ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoons butter (melted) ¾ cup of water
Preparation: Mix all dry ingredients first, following the wet ingredients. Knead dough gently until the mixture is firm. Add more water if dough is too dry or add more flour if dough is too sticky. Traditionally, the dough should be cooked on a well grease griddle or frying pan over medium heat (adjust if necessary). Each side should take about 15 minutes.
Now, I actually prefer baking the bread as oppose to frying it. It usually cooks more evenly through when using this method. I begin by baking the bread at 425 degrees F for ten minutes. Once it develops a golden brown crust, I lower the heat to 375 degrees F and cook it for an additional 15-20 minutes.
Either way, baked or fried, once you feel the bread looks ready, let it rest about 5 prior to serving.
