Happy birthday to my all-time favorite anime character, the prodigy, the half-pint, the champion, the pixie-boy, the exhibitionist, the envied celebrity, the lonely star (who lives with his dog), the perfectionist, the breaker of all the records and all the rules, the professional ‘skater of the year’ smile and unacceptably unphotogenic (but still cute as f***) honest full-mouth grin, the animated idol of not only anime fans, but also real-life top-notch professional figure-skating champions (including Evgenia Medvedeva, Stephan Lambiel, Evgeny Plushenko and Johnny Weir), the history maker who could kill solid social media servers after his concluding episode in 2016, the lover who has both 'eros’ and 'agape’ in him and who is a true Capricorn from his (not balding!) head to his toe: Viktor Nikiforov.
