I’m not shocked he’s shipped with ALL of Team RWBY and is one of the few villains to do so with a good amount. I’m kinda shocked with Winter being 3% (I was expecting 1% LOL)

I finally got one of my old uni friends to start watching RWBY and was feeling nostalgic hearing thoughts about it so I ended up drawing some stuff inspired by one of my favourite arcs :)

Why is it that every time RT has an opportunity to show how racist Remnant supposedly is, they back down? But always manage to show how the effects of said racism can lead to people being radicalized? Why is EVERYTHING about Adam and this racism arc so poorly fucking written?
It honestly feels like every time RT have the opportunity to show the effects of violent racism, they balk. They get scared. They run away from it. “Adam is branded over one eye as SDC property” literally walks itself to the conclusion that someone at the SDC must’ve done this to him as a way of humiliating and scarring him. Not that he… got into a fight with some randos that “let him have it.” What a phenomenal way to neuter such a horrific and important part of his character. What a coward’s way to write the story.
RT have gone so far in this show to condemn radicalization against a racist government, but even at the most fundamental level, have absolutely REFUSED to SHOW how that radicalization can happen.
Blake’s a princess. Sun lives in the only (allegedly) non-racist kingdom. Velvet was bullied by someone who was already established to BE a bully regardless of race. Marrow doesn’t feel the need to talk about it. Neon barely had lines outside of her fight. Sienna was killed within 5 minutes of meeting her. Ilia TOLD us about what happened, but we weren’t allowed to see it.
At every single opportunity afforded, the show has literally folded over backwards to say “don’t let your hatred of racists radicalize you into a supremacist” BUT THEN DON’T SHOW THE FUCKING RACISM

Scene: Yang is sitting around the local saloon in one hand as she chills at the counter with a rootbeer float in one hand.
Yang:*winks and finger guns Blake*
Blake:*blushes and rolls her eyes*
Yang:*turns to the camera* Yeah, she digs me. *tosses her drink into the air and opens her mouth, gulping it down in one go*
Yang fails to notice the rough customer at the other end of the saloon; Adam, who’s playing pool. With one shot, he hits the cue ball into the balls, scattering them all until they’re all over the place.
Adam:*huffs and puffs as smoke pours out of his nose*
Adam’s attempt at intimidation makes the balls bounce and gasp before they all begin to roll into the holes.
Adam:*smirks and shoots finger guns at Blake*
Blake: Bleh! *sticks her finger into her mouth and pretends to gag*
Adam: Huh?!
Yang: Ah hahahahahahaha! How bullheaded!
Blake:*covers her mouth and stars giggling*
Adam: Grrr…! *hits the pool table as the balls roll out and obediently reset. Adam then prepares the cueball and hits it. Instead of hitting the other balls, it goes flying and nails Yang in the forehead!*
Yang:*gets knocked onto the floor*
Blake:*gasps*
Adam: Hehehehe~
Yang: *pulls herself back up and huffs before pulling the ball out of her forehead and walks over to the table.* Palooka, huh? Mind if I play?
Adam: Hmph, be my guest.
Yang:*grabs a pool stick and sets the ball down. She then gives it a wink before she hits it. The balls hit and scatter, but unlike with Adam, they all go in on the first try*Ta-dah~
Blake:*claps her hands*
Adam: Huh?! Cheap trick!
Yang: I can do another. Watch this. *whistles as the balls all start to pop out of the holes on the table. Yang then hits them like she’s still playing pool, knocking them out of the air as they bounce around the room. They bounce off of walls, tables, Adam’s head a few times, and land back in the hole. Everyone in the saloon is clapping*
Blake: *claps her hands and walks over, planting a kiss on Yang’s cheek*
Yang: Wowzers~ ☆w☆
Adam: Grrr…! *marches over and pushes Yang away* Keep your hands off my girl!
Blake: ‘Your’ girl? Step off! *tries pushing Adam away*
Adam:*blows smoke from his nose* Come here! *grabs Blake and tries to carry her off*
Blake: Hey! Let me go! Put me down!
Yang:*races over and snatches Adam away*Hooves off, Mask Man.
*The two start glaring at each other before Adam throws a punch. Yang ducks underneath it as Adam whiffs. Yang then rises with an uppercut, causing Adam to stagger back.*
*Adam growls and tries to charge at Yang, but she sidesteps Adam before grabbing his arm. She spins around, much like a twister before throwing him back to the pool table. BONK! Adam is now seeing stars!*
Yang:*starts dusting her hands*
Blake: Way to go, Yang!
Yang: *thumbs up and smirks at her*
Adam:*Shakes off being stunned and growls. This time, however, he grabs a pool ball and throws it! It pops off against the back of Yang’s head!*
Yang:*growls and races at Adam*
Adam: *grabs his sword*
*Yang gets ready to punch Adam, but he quickly dashes past Yang, cutting off her arm. Before she can react, Adam kicks Blake away, sending her flying into the bar!*
Blake: Yang!
Adam: You’re coming with me doll! *throws away his poolstick and starts carrying Blake away*
Blake: No! Yang! Yang!
Yang: *is dazed and dizzy, sitting down as her head hangs back and her mouth wide open*
*The camera pans to a bottle of milk that teeters to and fro before it falls over and starts to pour into Yang’s mouth. Yang starts to drink the beverage and once finished, she wakes up and bounced onto her feet!*
Yang:*shakes her new stub before smashing it onto the counter as a bunch of scrap metal and loose screws starts coming to her and swirling aroud her stump, forming into her mechanical arm*
Yang:*flexes her new arm as her new arm briefly gets an x-ray shot and shows a battery gauge reaching 100%. Then 200. 300. 400. 500. 1000%!*
Yang: *kisses her new muscle before she throws her arm back. She then throws it forward, her hand flying off like a fishing rod, grabbing Blake’s arm before pulling her away from Adam*
Adam: Hey!
Yang:*sets Blake down on the counter* Wait here.
*Adam races at Yang and swings his sword, but Yang punches it with her mechanical arm and shatters it to bits. She then punches Adam in his stomach, sending in flying into a wall. He bounces off of it and flies back to Yang.*
*Yang has begun twisting the fist on her mechanical arm before it starts to spin like on her wrist like a drill. She then punches Adam again, this time making him spin in place before he fall over, twisted like a coil. As he starts to unwind, he starts rolling away, out the door and down the road into the night.*
Blake: Oh, Yang~ *throws herself onto Yang and kisses her cheek*
Yang: He was a big bully~ But he couldn’t beat me~ 'Cause I’m Yang Da Dragon Gal~
Emerald is super tight and prefers women, but the minute she saw Taurus she new what she needed. Once she saw how big he was she regretted it. Now he will see that she pays for teasing him.
