An older piece I did as a learning piece for the Ancient-Kaiju Project.

This is kinda a double-homage to Albert Bierstadt for the Landscape and Aris Kolokontes who designed the Leatherback as seen in Pacific Rim 1.

Decided to post this here as I work on a Jäger-piece atm.

What is better than a painting with a dragon?
A painting featuring 16 dragons I’d say ;)

This one was done for the third artist grant which I received this year - thanks to Stiftung Rheinland-Pfalz für Kultur!
I believe this worked well as an „Ancient Kaiju“-piece because the original from Joseph Wright of Derby is from 1775;)

::Luna & Nova: Feeding Time at the Highlands::
.
Another piece I did as part of the Artist-Grant of Luna and her friends.
.
This is mainly a big nod to the (still?) current edition of Magic the Gathering with some Low-brow elements featuring Luna & Nova. Actually, Schrödinger’s Scythe also seems to turn into a broom when under stress, Luna made the best out of it and learned how to fly ;)
.
Nova is resizing Donuts for the Behemoth while Luna has a few in her bag to bring to the other dragon-creatures. 
The smell from her hut enticed the lot.
Now you can discuss wether Donuts are a healthy meal for Behemoths and dragons, however, if you do that, do it with style ;)
.
The landscape is based on August Wilhelm Leu’s work from 1860ish.
There is also a framed *over-the-top* Gold-Edition Print I made - just swipe past the close-ups to see that ;)
