My final project for my Latin American Cultures class at uni! I chose to do illustrations of traditional clothing, an outfit of the Argentinian gaucho and a dress from the Colombian sanjuanero huilense. I had to make them quick and a bit sloppy because I was busy and in a hurry. I got a bit behind on things because of complications from developing adult-onset asthma.
I really recommend looking up videos of huila dancing, it’s really beautiful how the skirts are used in the dance. Side note, some Colombian coffee from the Huila region is amazing.
