You are seated in a bed, the pillow supporting your lower back as you seem to sink deeper into the mattress. You know there is movement on the bed, as the mattress decompresses so do you, breathing out slowly, mechanically, and with such apathetic purpose. You don’t remember how you got there, but you don’t care. You remember caring, you remember caring quite a fair bit, concern, excitement, worry. However now, it is just the breathing and this spiral on the tv in front of you. It sinks, it twists, it drops, and you feel yourself go. The world is fading around you, just the breathing and spiral. Such complete contentment in yourself, there is no emotional drainage, there is no pressure, you feel as if the weight of being yourself is removed. Some part of you hears me, instructions, programming, and from that nothingness, there is a singularity. Nothing as complicated as emotion. Nothing as complicated as an idea.

It is a sense of purpose

It is a sense of obedience

It is a sense of pleasure

And you feel this arousal begin to boil, bubble, and metastasize into your body. Corrupting, controlling and you feel the compulsion, the need to respond to a simple question.
