we just found out you can prolong the life of your kneaded erasers by WASHING THEM we did not know this! what the heck? yes you get them kinda flat as possible, run them under warm water and wash with soap but do not knead when soapy, only after the soap is rinsed, and then knead again, and repeat a few times! we just used plain castille soap we had around and because we are fish and cannot expose ourselves to soaps because it will remover our healthy slimey layer our human friend did it for us and
yes it cleaned and refreshed the eraser very nicely! we had no idea this was a thing! don’t know how many times you can do this but we’ll keep doing it until it just doesn’t work anymore!
