Here are some details: STAY HOME ART SHOW at Common Area Maintenance 2125 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121 6 to 10 PM FRIDAY, MAY 24 “Stay Home” is a showcase of recent work from four CAM artists. Featuring weavings from @supposed_lee , mixed media illustrations by me, graphite drawings from @aaronhexom and paintings by @petponyy ✏️ Expect original artwork available for purchase. Also precious moments, snacks and the champagne of beers. DON’T stay home. DO celebrate some of common AREA’s longtime members and their new work!

Nikita Ares was born in the Philippines and moved to Seattle when she was 16. 
Here she has stayed to study painting at Cornish College of the arts. 
Using paint, pastels, crayons, pencils, her fingers, her hands and brushes Nikita is mesmerized by the colors of nature.  “I see my emotions in the lingering and developing colors and shades of nature and what is around me.  Like my feelings these colors are always subtly changing and developing to be something new.  Nature makes me feel, these feelings that I have in that moment, is what I show in my work.”

Raven Mathews, a Seattle native has the energy of a rock concert, a rave, a river, and a boulder. He makes music he wants to make and performs how he wants to perform.
He has released his third album, Disco Christ which Seattle weekly states is a “genre-bending record (that) adheres to no conventional framework and makes no attempt to fit into any small-minded categorical boxes.”

Now I’ll be the first to admit I don’t go out in public all that often, but ArtWalk San Diego was a trip yesterday for my live painting demo at Adelman Fine Art. I had a couple lovely young ladies that wanted an impromptu adult painting session, a dude that handed me his credit card and told me to sell him something, and someone that propositioned me for something I’m still trying to figure out. All in all, it was a great day!

Just kicking it with my Edenic Design coffee table collaboration at Adelman Fine Art. I love how I was able to catch a glimpse of “Foreverandever” in the reflection of the table. 

I’ll be live painting tomorrow for ArtWalk San DiegoinLittle Italy.

One of my favorite paintings, “As The Caged Bird Sings,” is currently on exhibit at Adelman Fine Art. I’ll be live painting at the gallery this Saturday from 3-6 for ArtWalk San Diego, so come on out and join the festivities. 

This painting is dedicated to my best friend and muse, Deanne Hastings, who tragically went missing in 2015 and has yet to be found. It is suspected that she was murdered but there has been no closure to date. Deanne once asked me to do a huge painting with a giant pair of wings. This is my tribute to her.

Melina Merkouri’s portrait  in Patras Art Walk 5

The first mural of the 5th International Street Art Festival Patras Art Walk 5 is devoted to the vivid personality of Melina Merkouri. 2020 is a year dedicated to her by the Ministry of Culture. The mural honors the 100th year from the birthday of a passionate greek figure who had a huge impact on the  cultural evolution of the country. Patra will be from now on decorated with a symbolic and historical portrait on the streets of Archiepiskopou Kirillou and Themistokleous. The art piece is the result of the team work of Art in Progress under the visual guidance of the artistic director of Art Walk, Kleomeni Costopoulos (KLE).

The Festival will host 10 more murals by international artists - guests of the Festival.
