during the first Big Vampire Battle Korra gets hurt and is legally dead for a few minutes but recovers just in time to save the day
a few weeks later on patrol she sees a beautiful woman kill a vampire (hot) and then out of a misunderstanding she attacks Korra and is literally the first person ever to hold their own against her (hot) and then she introduces herself as Asami the Vampire Slayer (HOT)
Korra barges into the library like TENZIN YOU DIDN’T TELL ME THAT IF I DIE FOR FIVE MINUTES I GET A HOT GIRL IN THE MAIL
Asami is like “well I was only supposed to be in Republic City temporarily….” and Korra’s like “BUT HELLMOUTH. TWO SLAYERS ARE BETTER THAN ONE. DO YOU WANT TO GO BOWLING WITH ME THIS SATURDAY.”
they go bowling
vampires attack the bowling alley and they all get dusted in like thirty seconds
Asami is like oh this place is worse than I thought I guess I have to stay also will you be my girlfriend
Bolin is like shit can I temporarily die too? and Mako’s like look I may be gay but I suspect there are other ways to get a girlfriend
For@hlord369 who asked for some ‘adorable pregnant korrasami cuddling’ For the record, I totally headcanon Korra freaking out the entire time Asami is pregnant- always asking if she needs water, or food, or to readjust the pillow, or if she’s comfortable and Asami is just like, 'Korra, pls, I’m fine, just go to sleep’ but can’t stop smiling because she loves that Korra cares so much.
