i invited some friends over to my astral space so we could have a competition on who could do the best astral backflip. i tried and did a belly flop.
my friend helped me change my astral space to make it more pretty. he added a lake and some small streams, lots of flowers, and jellyfish that float in the air.
it was a chill time. we had fun.
we also went to another friend’s space. i hung out and observed for a while, but then i decided to go look for their mysterious cabin, which was sometimes there and sometimes not. i could sense it’s general location. we discovered that my friend had accidentally warded it against herself. it was pretty hilarious.
i open my eyes into a dark space. everything is black. nothing exists around me, though i feel that there are somehow floors and walls at the same time as there is nothing. i look forward and there is a door. i walk forward to examine it. it is made of painted blue, weathered wood, old and cracked. it reminds me of the beach. it feels solid but rough. i reach for the handle and i turn it. i open the door into a place i cannot see. i step through.
at first, everything is simply light. slowly, my surroundings fade in. i am standing in a clearing with light green, springy grass, overgrown but no higher than my ankles. to my left is a grove of trees. i believe they are tall pine trees. to the left but farther ahead and away, there are some aspen trees as well as the grove becomes thinner. to my right and a little ways ahead and away, there is a small house. it reminds me of the door. i feel wind. i hear birds.
i turn and see the door. i walk back through it and close it behind me. i open my eyes.
